@NewEquinoxProduction You need to learn Grammar. He orchestrates, composes, and conducts almost all of his movie music. When he's composing, I'm sure he dresses comfortably and casually. He's even said himself: "Orchestrating gets me the exercise that I lack while sitting at my piano".

I just wanted to say, that John williams always wears a black pullover when he conducts an orchestra. I know that, cuz he send me a letter with a FAQ paper.

I know that he do all the work. But he dont orchestrate all himself. He got also an orchestrator, cuz he cant do the whole work alone. The tme is to short. Maybe the best way to find it out is to write a letter to him, like me

He truly captures every nuance of every genre in his scores which such subtlety and poignancy and dynamic. How can they fail? Two geniuses of the modern movie/music era - Spielberg and WIlliams!!

I always think that genius is an over used term when it comes to composition, especially film music. But in the case of John WIlliams I think that no other word could describe him. Genius is what he is!

John Williams is a brilliant composer. I played a suite from Catch Me If you Can I arranged / Reorchestrated on my final recital.

He's by far my favourite composer.

I worked at Sony when they were recording this. I knew Williams liked good wine, so I went to Gil Turner's and got him a bottle of red with a note and gave it to the recording team. I met him a year later at a Costco signing...he was a nice guy, esp. considering that the line was held up by a lot of fanboy obsessives who wanted him to sign every CD and poster they could lug in there.

I'm not sure if I'd call him a 'god of music', but I would say that he is extremely good at what he does, which is embellish the specific mood in the scenes he writes music for.
