Mormons cannot think clearly. They say that the only true church of God must contain the name of Jesus Christ because it is Jesus Christ's church yet they fail to realize that their own church has had its name changed several times. The Mormon Church was originally called "The Church of Christ" then "The Church of Latter-Day Saints" then "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints". By their logic it must not have been the true church while it was called "The Church of Latter-Day Saints."

I always thought it was funny when some cheeky monkey removed the 'S' from Saints in logo when they were set as individual letters in the brickwork. Latter day aint's! I'm sure this is why its a solid, one-piece plaque now to prevent tampering.

Funny, when I was in the church in the 70's we were told NOT to call ourselves "Christian." We were above, or better than "Christians."

Those who belonged to the early Christian church were known more by their geographic location rather than an "organizational" name. In I Thessalonians 1:1 Paul addresses "The church of the Thessalonians." Are we to assume that Paul was addressing a false church? When I do point this out, Mormons tell me I'm dealing with semantics, or something along those lines. Of course, it's just their way of trying to get out of a total contradiction, much like playing the "anti-Mormon" card.

It should also be pointed out to Mormons concerning the second point to their 17 points of the true church which states: "The True Church must bear the name Jesus Christ. Eph. 5:23" The problem with that is if Mormons wish to use this argument, they must answer as to why their own church was called merely "The Church of the Latter-day Saints" from 1834-1838. By their reasoning their own church must have been in apostasy for at least four years.

Another thing i find ridiculous is when I watch the professionally done up videos from the mormon youtube channel they speak in 17th century elizabethian english to try and make it seem 'Godly'.
