He more than likely ran when they said stop so they tackled him. Those wound were consistant with stuff you see when somebody falls down at speeds exceeding 5 mph. @DrAmazing Actually, a lot of these type of footage shows the aftermath of what happened. I am sure he did something to get arrested. Cops did not just run up to him and cuff him. Hippies love to edit videos. SMH. stupid poor annoying whining hippies. They volunteer for life while i go to work now and get money. I hope there is another protest now so cops can get more over-time! By the way, I see a lot of people throwing stuff at cops on LIVE news lastnight. Cops had paint all over them.

This video isn't that useful, but there are plenty that show cops casually walking up to peaceful protesters and giving them a face full of spray. I'm over seas, so I don't get American news, but I seriously have not seen any protesters acting violently.
I don't really get where all the hatred for the protesters comes from. You must agree that most politicians favor corporations over people, and that this is bad. Why mock those that try to fight it?

@DrAmazing Because its pretty annoying when they think everything is illegal and think everything is police brutality. They dont even know how to have a legal peaceful protest. Maybe some rules of guidelines should be sent out. I am mutual but yesterday actions, i agree with cops.

Isn't it though? These police officers aren't acting to protect anyone. A bunch of people camping out with signs are not a threat or a danger. The whole point of a protest is to put pressure and gain attention. If they follow every law and regulation made by the people they are protesting against the protest becomes a useless empty gesture.

@DrAmazing Camping out there causes a bad image for the city of Oakland. People were having sex in public, smoking marijuana, drinking and pissing and shitting everywhere. I want to walk my dog in downtown, I do not want to see that shit. Nearby businesses including small businesses were hurting so it is a treat. That is why there are laws and if they don't follow it, they can't claim "police brutality' on everything because they broke the law and cops have the right to arrest those hippies.
