No you're thinking of the movie "Hurricane Season" which is about the John Ehret Patriots basketball team coached by Al Collins. Winning is nothing new for the John Curtis Patriots. They win state titles every single year in football so that winning spirit was not sparked by hurricane Katrina. And they dont cut players from their team cuz all of them are highly recruited and groomed from playground age all through high school.
