  • Oh, My Gosh You're good at that

  • This is incredible :) I could listen to it all day long. You rock!

  • @edster013 he kind of has a brace on his arm, stupid.

  • @edster013 notice the brace

  • I used this video to play this song without any prior experience to piano playing (other than fiddling around with a piano). lolwut =\

  • it was awesome, but i noticed one mistake at 0:17-0:21 the correct right hand goes Eb and Ab and then Eb and Bb and then C and Ab and then Eb and Bb. Not Eb and Ab Twice

  • Wish it was longer! Great Job!

  • swag

  • I'm a novice piano player, but I'm a professional guitarist. I can play piano somewhat well, but I'll tell you that this song, which is stride piano... is particularly difficult for me because once the melody kicks in.. my left hand shorts out because my brain can't process it!!! I think a lot of people experience this when attempting to play this song.

  • @ShawnTTMartin I find it a bit difficult to separate the left and right hand a bit myself, being a novice/intermediate piano player. but I'm also a bassist (bass guitar), so it's down to being able to read both parts at once an maintain synchronicity.

  • i used to play piano then i took an arrow to the wrist

  • Soo amazing my dad wants me to play this could u please put up a tutorial

  • seriously, this sounds perfect.

  • I think hes wearing wrist braces for carpel tunnel?

  • This guy played it so well, he broke his wrists.

  • @bigman1273 No kidding that took years or practice to learn to play like that

  • Where is the rest on the song?

  • awesome!!!!

  • what happend too your wrists

  • OMG good times good times

  • I love linus and lucy

  • Although the Christmas special was first time this song was heard by the American public, it was actually written a year or so earlier for a never aired documentary special titled, "A Boy Named Charlie Brown." This is not the same as the movie with the same tilte. The documentary was about Charles Schulz and the Peanuts characters. Vince Guaraldi was asked to write music to go along with each of the characters. This song is what he came up with for the characters of Linus and Lucy.

  • does anyone know why this was specifically called "Linus and Lucy?" i always thought it was weird that the title centered around those two.

  • Since discovering this video a few days ago, I have watched it a hundred times or more! I love it! You did an awesome job!! I am trying to learn how to play the piano and am hoping one day to learn how to play this song--it is my favorite song! For right now I will just keep enjoying your talented piano videos!

  • this is more perfect then I think

  • Wrong wrong wrong. Left hand is wrong.

  • What? 47 dislikes? That can't be! D: But very good job! :D

  • you should make a tutorial!!!! its good as!!!!

  • awsome

  • Your good :D

  • I would really like to hear you play the full theme, i betcha anything it'll sound just as much if not, more beast than this cause this is the best sounding video of the peanuts theme on youtube! The chords and harmonies sound amazing! *applause*

  • .. are both of your arms broken? D: you are by far the best piano player ive ever seen then

  • Personally, I think this is better as piano solo.

  • whats worng with your arms???

  • Correction- partially torn ligament*

  • Haha he isn't wearing braces for training or because they're broken. It is probably because of carpal tunnel or tendonitis.

  • cast on arms?

  • Maybe he's using the braces for training, although I don't see why, somehow I doubt his wrists are broken, but if they are -_-;

  • challenge accepted

  • wow. how come he can play the peanuts song with two broken wrists and i can't play it with two good hands??? *sigh* such is luck.

  • Wow he is good

  • damn with 2 broken wrists what a beast

  • @yamisosteez not broken, either carpal tunnel or something neurological. Either way, GREAT!

  • this is really good!

  • was your hand broke or something? if yea good job still doing that with a broken hand

  • @dollabillwil no your not.

  • Well...It takes talent and practice to play this song. Unfortunately 46 people don't have talent

  • Are the wrist bands just a training tool to keep your wrists straight, or were you actually injured doing this? lol

  • You see the dislike bar? That's the same size of the dislikers' penises.

  • Daaauuuuum

  • About to cry I miss the old times :(

  • LOVE :D

  • Great job!

  • not to troll or anything, but the lowest A flat is flat. it needs to be tuned. but this is a great video good job playing with broken wrists

  • Cool. the dude is playing with broken wrists. He must be chewing gum at the same time - Cool. Thanks for the vid

  • Thank you for posting.

  • You should have been born a centaur

  • Would love to use this as the music for immediately after getting married.... bubbles in the air, etc. You really hammered it home and we love the "celebration" that you created. Awesome job!!

  • I've been looking around for some time now, but I can't find free sheet music for this. Anyone know where I could get it?

  • Dude is sick

  • I wish I could do that damn

  • that bro killed it on the piano

  • from 0:37 0:45 i really love that part i wish when people play this song as a whole that they would repeat that part over and over

  • hooly shit! he didn't roll on the chorus

  • I'm swinging!

  • I'm just going to comment again... This is AWESOME piano playing! So soothing.

  • Now, why doesn't shit like this become featured on YouTube? It's sure a hell's lot better than that Annoying Orange crap.

  • @TheMutatedOwl hahaha!

  • genius!!

  • I lived it :D amazing perfect

  • is a piece of art

  • incredible

  • I love the tone of this piano too. Two thumbs up for Yamaha

  • I believe the sheet music calls for an Eb that he leaves out and instead goes right to the bottom Ab but very good overall

  • @themrqwertymark If you're talking about the left hand note that I *think* you're talking about, then no, it doesn't actually go there; the left hand is supposed to be legato after the 6th note. I'm aware that even Guaraldi was sloppy about it, but if you go listen to the clips from aired specials, it's not in there. *Something else* is in there, but I think it's a low note on the right hand. Is there footage og Vince playing it, anywhere?

  • @baylinkdashyt Excuse me, "twelfth note".

  • nice blue jean shorts!

  • that wuz good.

  • played this at a concert

  • lol wearing slints while playing this song. i know how you feel, i have to do the same thing :)

  • Listen to this high...itll change your life

  • This is amazing man. Keep it up.

  • WHO THE FUCK DISLIKED THIS?

FUCK THAT SHIT, I'M FUCKED PISSED!!!!

  • @dollabillwil: This video is art. No doubt. It makes me happy.

  • @dollabillwil some shithead thats who

  • @dollabillwil Obiviusly, They don't appriecieate fine music.

  • @dollabillwil

Who disliked it? Jealous trolls. :)

  • Excellent dude!!!!

  • Yeah. finally someone who plays this song right on key.:) Great job.

  • okay, so i literally just replayed 0:37-0:45 for the past 30 minutes because i couldn't figure out what you were doing. i have the sheet music in front of me but you play it like guaraldi does which is contrary to the sheet music.

    YOU HIT: Eb+Ab ->slide your thumb (from Eb) to E -> F -> Ab

    INSTEAD OF: Eb+Ab -> E -> F+Ab -> F+Ab

you give it that rolling effect which sounds better than the sheet music.

  • @Brontobyte actually its supposed to have a roll u must be looking at a different version cuz the one i have has a grace note at that point which therefore gives it that sliding sound

  • @BeastlyVoldemort I have the sheet music and I've watched several different videos and I still can't figure out how to play it.

  • @Brontobyte i did the same thing lol

  • Dang you rock bro I ENVY YOU and you have broken/or sprained wrists YOU ROCK .it didnt even faze you haha

  • dangit i want to learn how to play this song on piano.........

  • what happend to your hands

  • i love this song and snoopy

  • those 44 people were probably expecting the jazz part after the video ended

  • Very nice. Applause

  • I have to learn how to play that

  • dude you've inspired me to learn the song now

  • are you playing with the grace note? on the chorus

  • carpal tunnel? you wouldn't be playing that much especially make a video if you had broken hands, haha. but i feel you if that's carpal tunnel, it sucks

  • I can play this song, but not so smooth... all hail the Piano king!!

  • Thumbs up if you favorited this!!!

  • Checked the date on the video. Realized that it was a while ago. :) Hope the wrists have healed.

  • Those wrists look uncomfortable. If you are looking to work on improving chronic wrist pain(for example carpel tunnel syndrome), or rehabilitating an acute injury you might be interested in "Pain Free" by Pete Egoscue. You may be able to find it at a local library to take a risk free look at his approach and practice to building wrists out of pain. I have found it to be an effective book when working on myself.

  • A guy I know plays ten instruments and he played this on piano and I'm now positive he's my soul mate. :D

  • @loganpabc123 good one

    ha ha

  • i'm definitely learning this song

  • where is teh jazz ending?

  • how do u play the piano so good when you have two broken armss!!amazing!!:)

  • Rose town 707

  • This guy is the ONLY one who plays the Funky Jazz part at 0:38!

For reals look at other covers of it

  • @StratBanez101 that's weird because that's how the actual song is written... idk why no one else does that

  • @daabest1 no no no he is the only one plays the jazz part CORRECT! other covers cant seem to get it right.

  • This is not any part of the Peanuts theme song. It is called Linus and Lucy.

  • I think they're wrist weights, rather than braces for any type of carpal tunnel or something. Some people swear by them and say that they can play much more lightly and fluidly when they take them off.

  • lol hes slapping his fingers on da keys

  • he really did not break his hands it is just a challenge so his fingers are not flexible.

  • NICE GOIN DUDE!!! You managed to play this song literally PERFECTLY even with BROKEN HANDS! U ROCK!!!

  • Nice, I love this theme but did u break ur wrists??? Or is that just style or piano gear.... I dont know can u tell me plz reply asap

  • @21HatMan it is because he has either had some accident involving his hands or he has carpul tunnel syndrome (did i spell that right?)

my jr high music teacher wore those things because she hurt her wrists in a car accident but she still loved to play the piano and it gave her support in her wrist to play without further damage

  • Best Quality I've heard so far from YouTube.

  • Rip the audio from this vid at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • Awesome. You did very well with that theme. I just wish it was the full song. But, that aside, you nailed it. Great job.

  • Someones been goin a little too hard on the piano playing haha

  • Nice hands robocop lol ;)

  • man thats great!!! broken handz 2!!!!

  • In the right hand you used 1/5 alot. the fingering I came was 1/3 to 2/4 to 3/5 on those three repeated notes. Other than that it was fantastic.

  • this is titally awesome ima try to play it at home
