Then Umar came to the Muhajirun between the grave of Muhammad and the pulpit. They i.e. Ali, Uthman, Zubayr, Talhah and Abd ar-Rahman used to sit there, and whenever a matter used to arrive from the frontiers, Umar used to come to them there and consult with them. He came to them and said, "Congratulate me." They congratulated him, and asked, "With whom are we congratulating you, O Amir al-Muminin?" He replied, "With the daughter of Ali ibn Abi Talib."

I was informed by Anas ibn ‘Iyad al-Laythi, who reports on the authority of Ja‘far ibn Muhammad [as-Sadiq], and he from his father [Muhammad al-Baqir] that Umar ibn al-Khattab asked Ali ibn Abi Talib for the hand of Umm Kulthum in marriage. Ali said, "I had kept my daughters for the sons of Ja‘far." Umar said, "Marry her to me, O Abul Hasan, for by Allah, there is no man on the face of the earth who seeks to achieve through her good companionship that which I seek to achieve."

This is recorded by Ibn Sa‘d in his work at-Tabaqat al-Kubra (vol. 8 p. 338, ed. Muhammad 'Ab al-Qadir ‘Ata, Dar al-Kutub al-‘Ilmiyyah, Beirut 1990) as follows:

Umm Kulthum was the second daughter of Ali and Fatima, and the youngest of their children. She was born in about the year 6 Hijrah. She became of marriageable age during the khilafah of Umar ibn al-Khattab, and the khalifah asked for her hand in marriage.

Umm Kulthum bint Ali married Umar and had a son named him Zayd ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab (famously known as Ibnul Khalifatayn; the son of the two Caliphs i.e. Umar and Ali), and a daughter named Ruqayyah bint Umar [2]

Umar (RA) was the first to introduce the public ministry system, where the records of officials and soldiers were kept. He also kept a record system that had the messages he sent to Governors and heads of states.

He was the first to appoint police forces to keep civil order.

He was the first to discipline the people when they became disordered.

Omar never showed Bravery in the life of Prophet(saww)

He illegally usurped the property Of Daughter of Prophet Muhammad(saww), the garden of Fidak.

He inflicted injuries on the family of Prophet(saww) after the death of Prophet(Saww)

He even did not attend the funeral of Prophet(Saww) at that time he was indulge in political conspiracies of Khilafat

Please upload video on the bravery of Omar in The Life of Prophet(saww) in any battle

He used to beat his sister when he was kafir.
