  • you cannot conclude if he had or did not have diff lock on because you cannot see all the tires...and defenders have only central lock.

  • From this view it is impossible to say if difflock is engaged, since defenders have a central difflock. So the front right is probably spinning. At the end of the day you can get any vehicle stuck.

  • Defenders are great but their 4x4 system suck. That traction control is worthless compared to full lockers. The traction control`s just too slow.

  • I just wanted to point out that I`d rather get a Defender without the traction control system and install two lockers instead. The traction control needs a certain amount of time to realize that a wheel looses traction. Momentum is lost for a short amount of time, you don`t have that problem with lockers.

  • @Airox2009 It dosent matter if you have lockers or TC, if the tyres have no traction you will still get stuck

    The problem ist that TC takes away a lot of momentum since it relies on tire slippage first. Lockers give you the ability to use the full momentum you have. Still, if all 4 wheels have no traction either system won`t help you.
