so i am in a similar parogram in maryland, but it is part of my school schedule and i go to our counties fire academy every day. so i am wondering do you guys get officially certified as anything in this program(i.e and EMT-B or Firefighter)? and can you respond on actual emergencies and use your skills (for example going into a burning building)?...where i am we get the same ems and fire certifications as our career personnel, and i can go into any burning structure with an officer
