Hrm, I guess I have celebrated year 3 with mine, I also have Multiple Sclerosis and Trigeminal Neuralgia. My neuro treats others with this symptom and doesn't doubt it for a minute.
I can't get wafers in Canada (my doctor looked into them) so I take .25mg Clonazepam x3 daily (.5mg at night if things are really bad, but rarely) and I find chewing Stride sweet peppermint gum keeps things in check for me.
It's very important too that I get a good night's sleep, or the burning's worse.
