Whatever. Damien was not opera trained, but even trained singers agreed he held the vibrato well in ND and pulled it off sufficiently. You obviously only like perfection. It was a contest performance, set-up by a judge. Even so, he murdered the opposition. Give credit where it's due..and loosen up!

He's def not the lead singer of Muse - that's Matt Bellamy, and this is Damien Leith - Aussie idol winner (2006 I think). If you like the Muse songs you've heard, I recommend delving into more of their music - its pretty awesome. I think so anyway.

This version knocked our socks off..just the sheer heart-stopping glory of it. However I prefer the version he's singing now. Check out his acoustic arrangement. I heard it again very recently live and OMFG!! Just AWESOME!!

Meh, it's ok. It's not a very personal interpretation. He can sing the song ok technically, but he doesn't have the emotional vision to sing it with anywhere near the intensity of Yorke. Decent enough pretending.

I find your comment amusing, given that I have heard him sing the full version recently and it was a song that he and his wife sang to each other on their wedding day. This is so very personal to him that he rarely sings it and when he does.....we know who it's to...his beloved wife. By personal, I don't mean whether it means anything to him, I mean whether or not he's interpreted it in a way which makes it his own version.
