I'm about to buy an XJ i was wondering if the aftermarket axles are needed to mud or not?

@JeepInwest It is a lp dana 30 with ox locker and d44 shafts, I put it in line with the front diff so that i only have to plow one diff trail.

XJs are awesome. Had one just like yours, same color and everything with a 3" lift and 31s. Had to put the old girl to rest in a barn til this summer. Got a TJ til then XD still in the works... Nice vid, and good job out there

@calumetkid911 Stock hp d30 front housing with ox locker, 30 spline superior evolution shafts and 4.56 gears. The rear is a lp d30 with the same setup.

nice vid im interested to see how my xj wagoneer does in the mud. bone stock it should still do well most ive done so far is a little hill climb and some water crossings but ive got big plans for this thing as soon as i get another bread winner. thanks for posting that totaly dig it!

I see the stock XJ has a factory LSD, though! Man, that makes a big difference. However, that was still a very good job with a stock XJ! The 38s on the lifted XJ are just awesome!

How did you clear those tires how much lift and fender trimming

@turbojeep85 4 inches of lift. It requires major modification to the wheel wells as well as battery and computer relocation. I hope to get a vid made of the mods soon.

@kx85kid12 a D30 is the type of differential/gearing the jeep has. It is that round shaped thing in the middle of the axles, I have a d35 on mine, you need to know this for multiple things such as strength against larger tires, gearing, lifting, and protection plates
