I`ve been long time 242 fan and I don`t see anything wrong with that interview. It`s very relaxed back stage style and she is asking good questions. First quote "I`m standing in front of front242" - I liked that one. If you take yourself too seriosly you`re done. I think Jean Luc and Patrick also enjoyed it in a company of a cute funny journalist ;)

Front 242 did not "pioneer" industrial - Throbbing Gristle did. Also, Front 242 would be classified as EBM with industrial elements not pure industrial.

What the hell was that? If you are going to interview a band that's been around that long, is known world wide and arguably one of the pioneers of Industrial/EBM music, then you should probably do some more research and have a better delivery than what was just displayed. I honestly don't know how they hung around as long as they did. You can perceptibly see the look of anguish on J.L De Meyer's face saying to him "What the hell am I doing here".

They make alot of good points. Including the lack of need of a new release in order to tour. Especially with the massive back-catalog that they have. It's nice to see a more personal side of 242. They strike me as very thoughtful and intelligent.

The key word here is FUN. She is NOT some bland brown-nosing interviewer trying to appear to be 'knowledgeable' of the band. She is relaxed and has no problem laughing and making a few silly comments.

Give us your goofy antics. Give us some personal info. That's what we tend to crave. We want to know who you are and there's nothing wrong with that, particularly after all these years. Let us get to know you a bit.
