I've got a Madbeast too. I've spent more time working on it than I have running it. Could be a good truck but they use cheap parts. Then Nitro RCX has the worst support/service that I've ever seen. With 20 dollar minimum shipping you'll go broke fixing it.

Is this thing gonna come with metal gears? Looking for a 1/8th scale new nitro truck recently. Have had a Revo3.3 for two years, everything is getting old and the OS.21 on my Revo already has had 15 gallons gas through it. Drives like shit now. @MrTheErnie I've had my S28 for 2 years now and absolutely none of the gears have stripped. Its one of the most reliable trucks you can get on the market, its well made and it takes some punishment when I go bashing. Obviously if you run the truck into a tree (for example) at speed it'll break but replacement parts from Thunder Tiger are very cheap and quite a few of the parts from the Hammer S50 can be used if you so wished. Hell, I even added the Hammer S50 wheelie bar to my MTA4! :p

exceed is NOT a good brand of rc, yes they are cheaper, but chances are its missing parts out of the box. It will brake easily. Trust me I bought one, to keep it running its cost more than my traxxas slayer pro.

traxxas isn't that expensive. you can get a stampede xl-5 for $194. that can be upgraded to a brushless for nt that much and it can go 60 MPH.

@skatesoft44 you have no clue, there nitro engines dont last worth shit, there flimsy, allot of times they take forever to ship replacement parts if they even have them. my brother bought one as a 1st and nitrorcx still remains the reason he is not interested anymore. poor quality materials are used, in everything they produce. and my big thing here is why the hell would a company recommend a company other then its self. it shows that they dont recommend their products. compared to traxxas.

@bradyhpifirestorm no dude their both fun and ive had nitros an i am properly educated . nitros are messy, slow(well slower than most brushless electrics) and also more expensive . 1 gallon of fuel = $30 1lipo= $30 to 70

for the cost of 2 gallons of fuel you can have a lipo which is equal to like 15 gallons and the motor will actually last long enough to handle that cycle .as where a nitro engine lasts 5 to 8 gallons .so no electric is more fun

@skatesoft44 there not terribly slow, its all ones opinion, and what there into. either you want more or less work its your preference, and someones want/favor over another doesn't make the the other literally suck.. the other half of the hobby may thing the same way to electric. i like nitros they keep me busy, and give me something to do in my down time, and fuel lasts a while so i dont mind buying it. but admit table nitro is a bit nore entertaining with the hi rev engines, noise and such.
