  • Congratulations on your car, looks awesome.

  • Amazing how it ride with such extrem suspension geometry. It goes allmost like a bike:-D Great work!

  • How much lateral g reaches the car steady state? The tire footprint seems to be quite small

  • We did 1.1g in skidpad in a dusty lot at school. We're hoping to improve on that with further tuning and better driving conditions.

  • Whats the "Camber Car" concept being illustrated here? I tried googling it but not much luck.

  • Try searching for the Milliken MX1 or Milliken Camber Car. You can also check out Milliken's book "Equations of Motion: Adventure, Risk and Innovation," the car is on the cover and the book contains a section on it as well.

The basic concept is that the car corners using camber thrust like a motorcycle would. The camber thrust responds very well with load transfer, and by using highly cambered scooter tires we dropped over 30 lbs at the wheels. This let us show up with a very light, quick car.

  • T'was an honor to be the Sparky of this team!
