Its been 3 years since Valve said they would give 360 users the update right? Well I think its pretty fair to say they aren't doing that anymore. I read a blog on their website saying that its harder to update the 360 because it doesn't have the necessary components for such a huge update. They are pc company first and foremost and they honestly don't give a fuck about the 360 as they haven't with any of their games that are ported to the 360. I don't ever see myself buying another Valve game
from what i herd the 360 will get the updates in november, (around my birthday) i played on a server that gabe newel, or robin walker, was playing but they said it will defentely be relased before the end of year (on a sort of unrealatied note we got voice commands it was fun) :D

@jordan3802 Yes L4D and L4D2 are made by VALVe so hell yes there on the PC, they were made for X360 and PS3 but almost never got updated, and i'm glad they didn't if fanboys want updates they need to get Steam,
Same with TF2 they only patched modding and some glitches with most of the patch's on the X360 version and they confirmed it will never be updated again, for 3 reason's:

I don't understand why they didn't already have this update built in for the xbox 360 TF2 right when it came out. Ok for the people asking why aren't PS3 and 360 getting updates here's why. Since orange box dosent run well on ps3 they don't do anything with the ps3. And for the 360 the updates can only be so big and the updates for tf2 are bigger than the limit.

EA wants Valve to pay to update the console version but Valve wants them free, so what I'd do if I worked for Valve was wait till' they update Engineer and add all bugs and fixes and what not the, then I'd give the update to the 360 in a completely new TF2 and then make them pay like $10 dollars or like 800 Microsoft Pointd for the new version. Then the memory. Since TF2 is going to take up more than 5 GB after the Engi update they just put a big tag

@Zanoskull @ Hellzassain666 Okay seriously blame Microsoft and their Q&A fee's where they charge developers money to have Microsoft comb through every update and DLC before it's released and considering that TF2 has had over literally 250 updates ranging from content/dlc to general patches and engine fixes it would cost Valve more money then it would be worth to relase them that or they would have to charge a extra large price for the updates which they wont do since it wouldn't be fair to you.

@Zanoskull Reason is that the updates are easier to release for the PC. Consoles live with many restrictions. And everything has to go through microsoft/sony. And the updates we got really requires a system the xbox doesn't support. Valve would burn alot of money by updating the consoles.

Valve is trying to do a good thing by making us wait until there is a quote "abundance of content" because Microsoft is MAKING them put a price on the DLC. but really, their just shooting themselves in the foot for making us too long. People are paying $15 for the shitty MW2 mappacks each, im sure we'll be fine paying $10 for triple the content...

Ok for the people asking why aren't PS3 and 360 getting updates here's why. Since orange box dosent run well on ps3 they don't do anything with the ps3. And for the 360 the updates can only be so big and the updates for tf2 are bigger than the limit.

Then TF2 servers on the xbox will grow then microsoft and Valve will make a shit ton of money selling the orange box with TF2 as well as half life 2 Ep 3 coming out about next year i think the game will still sell and sell and sell and microsoft will be even more rich plus the cost of Natall and valve would too with portal 2 and TF2 on the 360 :l

There's 2 problems, memory and money. EA wants Valve to pay to update the console version but Valve wants them free, so what I'd do if I worked for Valve was wait till' they update Engineer and add all bugs and fixes and what not the, then I'd give the update to the 360 in a completely new TF2 and then make them pay like $10 dollars or like 800 Microsoft Pointd for the new version. Then the memory. Since TF2 is going to take up more than 5 GB after the Engi update they just put a big tag
