  • Another example of the genius of some of the British musicians of the late 1960's early 1970's. Parsons also produced Dark Side Of The Moon for Pink Floyd. Just a phenomenal song and album.

  • @StrnFn9099 Parsons ENGINEERED Dark Side Of The Moon. Pink Floyd produced the album

  • @oilingup You are correct sir. Thank-you.

  • @StrnFn9099 n p, Sir, yw. Peace

  • This should have been a dramatic Captain Future soundtrack.

  • Dec.12,2011 Fox News showed white drone captured by Iran Forces, Hi-Tech filming airplane. look how small it is.

  • There still is good music out there, just not anything new is all. To bad.

  • What a beautiful, spooky song!

  • Amazing, creative, inspirator, genius.

  • The reason APP sounds like Pink Floyd is because Parsons worked with them on "Dark Side of the Moon". Floyd is not the originator of the concept album. As you may know, it was The Beatles that did the first modern concept albums... and Parsons was at Abbey Road at the time, as an engineer. So, there's a reason Floyd and APP have a similar sound, at times. Also, some of the guest musicians on APP also were guest (studio) musicians for Floyd.

  • I allways like APP but a lot of people thought they ripped off Pink Floyd

  • Sounds like a song I used to hear in the Planetarium

  • SOUNDTRACK OF THE MILLENIUM

  • Had never realized about this clever reference 'til now!!

    Genesis Ch. 1. V. 32!

It does not exist in The Bible!

So... Is Parson a new collaborator on The Bible?

  • what it means is the next thing to happen in 'creation" was man creates the robot in his own image.

  • This music has never been as beautiful as it is right now with these amazing speakers.

  • bought this album 30 years ago, always loved it!

  • Very clever title. Verse 31 in the Bible signifies the start of corruption and there is no verse 32.

  • Love. Love. Love.

  • Que bueno

  • This track would be great for surround-sound.

  • I have the LP :)

Allen Parsons is one of my favorite musicians...

  • @TheBowgunner me too!

  • SOOO good!

  • this song always manages to make me cry =s... so powerfuly emotional

  • This is truly Beautiful. :'-)

  • Brings tears to my eyes every single time. Makes me wonder about my life.

  • @LopezzT If this song doesn't evoke that reaction, you're a hard, hard person.

  • @LopezzT it's awesome...

  • What should be fascinating to the time blind is that Alan Parsons have constructed a very rare bridge to realms..... o what commander>

  • What the hell are you are all talking about,,, THIS IS CREATIION! Be borned and such.

  • this takes me away to that of a place where i wont decay a place where i am no longer so afraid

  • Thus god createth robotkind.

  • this is one of those songs that I just cant stop listening to back to back. I get lost in my thoughts, about the past, present and future.

  • I think this is what they (Alan Parsons Project) thought Genesis Ch1, Verse 32 would have been like in their ideas. Excellent instrumental!!!

  • its supposed to imply a continuing story of creation, man created robots in his own image and now they have over thrown man leading to a new era of creation hence genesis ch1. verse 32

  • hah..there is no verse 32..cool..what does that mean?....what is the music saying..whoa man!!!

  • Did you ever realize there is no verse 32 in Genesis chapter one? It stops at verse 31. Whoa !!!!!!!!!

  • I don't know about all that. What I do know is that we used to get baked to the be - jesuscrispies and turn this up as high as it would go on the old Quadrophonic system.

  • "the voice" was the last warning, "Day after day" the consciousness raising of manking, about to be taken over by 'bots. "Total Eclipse" the actual occurring, and this one the aftermath

  • ! person is a qweer

  • Starflyer 59's "Softness, Goodness" reminds me of this song EVERY time. That's a good thing, I think.

  • I love this song.

  • The guy in the record store was playing this for me and put it in my bag accidently, so before i return to visit next week i am literally playing it non stop as it is so epic.

  • Great song its even better when you put it with total eclipse

  • Man;o) i used to get riped then listen to this on the headphones!!! AWESOME!!!!

  • Love love love APP, the best band ever.

Listen to the theme song of "Koyaanisqatsi" - Genesis is very reminiscent of it with the synthesizer + choire, even in melody. I'm surprised; I've never drawn a comparison between APP and Philip Glass.

  • Great stuff! See my video: "The Real Camelot" for a mystical take on this wonderful music.

  • super progresivo....me recuerda algo a Jorge Reyes QEPD

  • To me this is one of the most significant songs of all time...inexplicably awesome...much love to the poster.

  • the verse 32 doesnt exist, actually, in the Genesis Book. It ends with 31. The album theme - robot taking over man's power on this planet - may have something to do with this

  • I like this song alot

  • Im my honest opinion, the whole I Robot album is one of the best ever created by the Alan Parsons Project.

  • REMINDS ME OF HIGH SCHOOL AWESOME

  • best song of i robot!!!

  • "death is the road to awe" from "The Fountain" soundtrack is also a dope instrumental

  • @daehtnulb ...yeah i agree...The Fountain (music by Clint Mansell, right?;-)...is amazing soundtrack....i would guess that Mansell was into Alan Parsons when he was growing up..?..!..

  • @robelicit Yep, that's the one! I'm would not doubt that he was into APP when he was younger; a need to create music that produces this feeling to the listener.

  • a masterpiece

  • The most amazing thing is the bible verse Genesis Ch. 1. V. 32. See for yourselves.

  • Certainly better than most bible verses.

  • @clarkbarkev ;-)

  • @clarkbarkev Actually the Bible stops at verse 31.

  • @bellefeu True. But the point is that while God created man, man created robot, thus verse 32. Least that's the way I view it.

  • @blorgensteen Fair enough. I concede your point. :)

  • This is the most epic instrumental of all time!

though my favorite instrumental is still ELO's Fire on High.

  • @martycubfan meh, what about "death is the road to awe" from "The Fountain" soundtrack? and genesis ch1 v32 is way better than requiem for a dream IMO

  • It depends on which version you get, the edited or full length.

  • gotta love APP, this song gives me goosebumps everytime the choir comes in =^____^=

  • Wow BlackwolfWendigo. You took the words out of my mouth. Me too! I get goosebumps as soon as the choir comes in at 1:43.

  • I come every time the guitars start.

  • what's that now?

  • Love this song, my favorite from I robot =D

  • Loved this the moment I heard it! Thanks for uploading.

  • An incredibly beautiful instrumental song. This is the Genesis according to The Alan Parsons Project!!

  • buen instrumental me gusta mucho, este tema , primera ves ka la escucho.. chevre!! lima - Peru

  • listened to the whole album. VERY good.

    thanks
