Ah nice music... And to say people would beg my level 11 whm to join their parties in valkurm dunes.  Times sure have changed; Forget about being able to form a "Classic" XP party, let alone receive a valid invite.

SE should really open a new "Classic" server which has all of the advances, but no abyssea entry before level 75. That would bring back parties for sure. Or nobody would play on that server. I would tho, and i'll be waiting for you guys tehre if it opens up.

75 Elvaan DRG/BLU... -/kneel- I stopped before the new content came out, but will never forget the fun I had in this game... RoTZ, CoP and ToAU were the best stories I have ever heard... I remember impatiently waiting for each update to these expansions, just to see what happened next in the story. I may have left Vana'diel... But a part of Vana'diel will always be a part of me.

@KyoMidori nah Abyssea killed ffxi. thanks to easy power leveling and super easy challenges there are noobs everywhere. the whole game was 'outdated' by abyssea. even Xp was outdated

This is a good point. However, there are many good things to say about abyssea if it's with experienced players that played back before level sync. Talk about people getting rubys so much. Solution? How about since they love to pull a crap load of mobs build tp on one then ws another? Atleast them waking it up would cause them to pull hate and the sleeper will have no worries. Seriously though, is it that hard to select a ws and target another mob with it? Anyway that's just wishful thinking.

Case in point when breaking latents or just duoing me and my cousin would always fight 2 at a time if we are at 100tp+. Build tp on one I'll pull another and well sc it. PLD/WAR and THF/NIN in qufim. PLD tanking the one we are building tp on I grab another one while he's still tanking it. He vokes the one I just pull uses Red Lotus Blade. I sneak attack Viper Bite closing scisson. Now i'm tanking the one i just pulled and it's at 1/3 or less life leaving him to finish up the one we build tp on.

Sorry to jump off subject I suppose, and I'll leave it at that. Abyssea ruined FFXI because everyone would rather go there instead of just xp where ever. With how much they increased xp a pro party should get great xp. Granted it's not like doing abyssea OPs xp, but it gives them skill ups and experience with that job. It's also better xp then the first 1-2hrs building xp in the first 2 abyssea areas. Thats also depending on how fast they build that pt thus adding more time. Noob statement valid

@KyoMidori I agree, Abyssea totally ruined xping, no one ever wants a regluar party of 6 anymore, they should have just made Abyssea a limited time thing or something, or at least make up new areas to explore and xp at, i would have enjoyed exploring new areas rather than going into Abyssea and just bore my way to lvl 90

@TarutaruEater Abyssea ruined the game, almost as bad as getting rid of MPK. I get the fact people bitched about how long it took to get to 75... but going from 75-95 in a few hours is absolute bullshit. Half the fun of leveling was making statics and when you finally hit 75 it felt great, like you accomplished something. plus like you said the dying along the way etc makes for good times, as well as bad, but even the wipes that seemed like blow outs at first everyone laughs about later.

since those idiots at Square F'd up ff14so bad they should just rebuild FFXI from scratch with fully HD 1080i and bazillion pixel ratio for 360/PS3/pc dont need to change much in the game other then rebalance some of the obvious stuff.

Just because you like Final Fantasy XI doesn't mean the game is in error. It's not FFXI thats true, but it's still a solid game. Your just absorbed to much into FFXI to see it. Sad for you and everyone else like that because it's you all playing FFXI that is happering them fixing the proper problems with XIV. Every single error you can find on FFXIV you can find on FFXI or was there in a general sense. Not that it's a bad game, just wasting 8 years of your life isn't worth the switch..
