  • Gary with Extreme and 3 sides to every story is great CD with great singing and guitar

  • "Gary Cherone" is a fine singer and he can move like "Diamond Dave" too .-)

  • It's like watching bad karaoke.

  • Ted Danson, Lead Vocals.

  • My goodness, that sucked!

  • I agree. Im just sayiing Gary sucks but Roth is so shitty these days it doesent really matter. Roth cant sing his own damn music. Just pathetic!

  • better than sammy

  • @doublestrokeroll you know it man...

  • DAVE, DAVE, DAVE, DAVE, DAVE, DAVE AND DAVE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

  • Ridiculous! What ever happened with the ultimate Rock and Roll band in the world!?!

  • Gary got a bad rap for a bad album Van Halen 3. The whole band sucked on it not just Gary.

  • @Evilize666 Right! I thought I was the only one that noticed. AVH looks near death on this tour.

  • @Evilize666 Eddies tone sounds like shit on this tour. And Gary Cherone? Oey.

  • As bad a Gary sucked he actually does not sound any worse than current day Dave on tour. Dave does his best lately to talk or rap his way through any live song these days. What little he does sing is in a much lower key.(that's the lazy ass cheaters way to sing!) He's pretty much washed up. He can no longer sing his own shit!

  • @Xcorgi Gary had one job to do sing, he cldnt even do that , his tone horrific! seriously comparing him to ROTH in his late 50s, is not a great arguement .Just imagine if van halen had started w cherone?? yikes

  • Harmonies in the chorus are so cool...!

  • tremendo violero che, sus squeals me trolean

  • I never liked this singer with Van Halen.

  • I went to this gig at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and it was nothing short of awesome. Gary put his on spin on as a front man. However, I would've preferred Eddie to have used his Soldano's. The Peavey's sound a bit too British and the Soldano's sound like that clean open Californian summer...their home.

  • @5150VanAlien The Peavey's were a front. He used a rack of brit power amps. Can't remember what kind (two letters). I played Ed's rigg. (cause I know his tech). The amps were like B&R or something like that.

Interesting Note... he had proximity mics. Very cool.

  • Ed's tone sounded like he had left his wah wah petal in the "on"position or something.A little too much gain, very dry and alot of mid-range in there.Anybody else agree?

  • @bartolo5150 He could have used a bit more delay reverb for a bigger live sound as well.

  • gary you breateh way too hard and your a praying mantis(however u spell it)

  • They sounded absolutely amazing on this tour (saw them in Buffalo 1998). Eddie's playing & tone never sounded better...even til' this day!

  • @5150RDH

I agree, Ed's tone on this tour SMOKED!! The Peavey 5150 II amps that he was using & endorsing then sound so much better & dirtier than his new Fender 5150 III amps he uses now & on the 07/08 tour.

  • @Laticawatica Absolutely, I agree! He should have stayed with his Peavey line...definately better sounding (& much more reasonably priced) gear.

  • Love it!!

  • @yougotmikelopez Im with you!

  • who is that singing

  • @juandisamo54 Gary Cherone was with the band around this time (1998-1999)
