What is it with you people and Football vs. Soccer. Soccer is the original Football, after all, you play it with your feet; American Football is a sissy game for those who don't dare Rugby. It is quite clear that true skill is required for soccer (real football), and real men are needed for Rugby. Having said all of this. I will never try and defend cricket (what the hell were they thinking?).

I almost dont want to post this for fear of pointing all the eurosnobs there, but the New York vs Galaxy game was incredible last night. LA ended up losing 4-5, but there was 65000 screaming fans that got to see 9 goals. Beckham had two assists within the first 5 minutes of the match. It was truly a great game. Haters PLEASE dont come and piss on our parade over there, but for you foreign fans...

You deff can beat him, throw an italian defense at him. He's a great player no doubt, one of my fav players, but he's killed his skill by signing with a us team, he won't ever be the same great player he was. Plus he's just old.

There was a lot more spirit in the stadium compared to most MLS games, all cause of Beckham too, Donovan probably loves playing with him.

I agree with you. MLS isn't as bad as people make it out to be. It's like Junior Premiership in my opinion. The Galaxy goalkeeper is quite pro though, great saves.

uhh, adu only scored like 12 games in MLS. he was by no measure one of the stars of the league...besides the fact he got some buzz when he was signed at age 14. why do you think they unloaded him to benfica for only $2million?

the goalie from DC placed his wall very cheesy. and he didn´t move. he couldnt see the ball. so it was a normal freekick.
the LA goalie is so lousy, in germany he would be the third goalie in the second league.
