Do another review, put kids in the backseat and use a carseat (station wagon), put a dog in the driver seat and drive (0nly in the US), show ppl the real mpg, show people the real maintanence cost, change the tire from stop to finish, show us how to park this car in a crowded mall parking spot, show real world performance with three people in the car. I know you can do a better review of your top choice than this video. This VIDEO has no real value for the masses.

@4dzone Like they said at the beginning if you ever read Automobile Magazine they pick cars that are exhilarating, makes a huge statement and above all else is geared toward people who LOVE cars - This car is not made for the masses and was intended to be mass produced if you want a mass produced car review, you should subscribe and read consumer reports on cars - as for me i love this car inside and out!

Sorry to say but I can't see this car beating out ALL the OTHER TOP LEAGUE CARS!!! And this video doesn't explain WHY it is Auto Mags choice of the year. It drives nice, it has power, blah blah.. from the airport to the hotel.... Yeah what else do you have to convince the mass readers and followers?

Only problem i have with this is that i personally believe that an automobile of the year should be something that most average people can get. 60k is a bit much for a sedan for your average american. That aside your all star choices were spot on for this year.

I love this car, I really do. It would be better if they offered more then one engine option, the supercharged 3.5 L at 310 hp. But at $17,000 more then the A6, it is difficult to rationally justify the price. Regardless, it looks gorgeous!

I really dislike this car for the fact that I own one and I'm about to trade it in for a 2012 BMW 550i xdrive. I felt that the a7 was really underpowered.

@MegaBlackberryuser if thats the case, goto your audi dealer and install a stasis ecu. it costs about 1300 but adds about 70HP and is covered under the full audi warranty. it'll be faster than the 550i xdrive

Great video and! The car is beautiful and definitely the right choice for Automobile of the year. Nowadays car makers don't take chances any more, this shows that there is still hope for car design. And we all know that the technology, built, speed, quality, and luxury are all on the top level, like all German cars. Thanks Audi.

The A7 is a great car, because it does such a great job at combining the strengths of all kinds of different cars - luxury, hatchback, sports...

Nevertheless, my personal favorite this year is the BMW 1 series M Coupé, because it goes "back to the roots" without compromises (except for the sunroof).
