  • Was Cogsworth also the turkey in Honk!

  • Well Done! Good Choreography and Mrs Potts has a wonderful voice. Wish the same could be said for Lumiere.

As a Lumiere myself, i find it interesting that all French accents have to be either nasal or "grunty". It really sounds horrible when singing.

But otherwise, great job with a very tricky number! Keep it up!

  • I think that you guys could have been a lot more creative with the costumes.

  • wow the spinning fork wheels are cool

  • Very good! :)

I'm playing Lumière in the South West of England Premier with my Youth Theatre sometime next year.

I was looking around to see what other groups had made of this scene and this is probably one of the best do far! Well done to all involved and of course, my fellow Lumière. Hehe.

  • Very good for the age group. Very good.

  • this is absolutely incredible.

  • VERY GOOD!

  • costumes were good but choreography could be a leetle better

lumiere had a good accent but his singing voice was too thin

  • Uhmmm....

For the first part of the song....

Did Lum-lum sing at all? It sounds like he's reading the lyrics...

    Over all, it's great...

    lol

  • wow, this production than ANY of MY school's

  • cogsworth is a sucky actor. nothin personal. actually yeah, make that one personal.

  • Haha. I love Lumiere!

  • He also played Emperor in Emperor, Peter in Narnia, the Jaguar in Just So (See "Take the Ladies Out for Dinner") and he is the Cat in the Hat in the upcoming production of Seussical

  • Omg we did Seussical..! :D

  • This is so cool!! they are so great!! especially the guy who plays Lumiere

    And the Dancing is excellent!

  • nrca my school did this actuall broaway set we rented i was the vanity lady

  • Superb! Magnificent! You all put on a great performance: Fantastic singing, dancing, acting, staging --- it was good enough for an off-Broadway opening! Everyone is to be congratulated, from the main actors to the minor supporting roles; it all came together beautifully. A job well done!! (I'm emailing this to my friends all over the world)

  • HEY! Those are the costumes we got for our show! Hahaha.

  • Do you have any footage of performances? I'd love to see.

  • Fantastic costumes! I just love all the enchanted objects! And Lumiere's accent is pretty cool, too! ^_^ I love the dance with him and the Featherduster.

Hey, is one of the plates (the girls in blue) the girl who played Susan in the Narnia musical? XD

  • Yes. Good spotting :)

  • Why can Americans never get French accents right.

  • I don't know, but we're Canadian.

  • LOL. XD

  • Because it's not our natural accent and these aren't professional actors. They do their best, and this is CHILDREN'S THEATRE. Do you really expect them to have everything up to Broadway/West End standards?

  • Lol, Lumiere kinda has an arnold shwartzeneggar accent. But still very entertaining!

  • this is seriously better than broadway

i wish i had talent like that

and i loved the cutlery and the napkins were a hoot!

  • Thanks! This show was a lot of fun to do. Fun fact about the napkins, when they bend over at the end of the section their bums read 'oui' between the three of them.

  • nice costumes
