Something like what happened in Vietnam makes me wonder if we should simply nuke these tiny countrys. Only if we go to war with them of course. Seriously,the reason we lost so many men in Vietnam is something like what happened in The Battle of Thermopylae. 300 Spartans on the frontlines(A couple thousand lesser soldiers behind them) took on the massive Persian army. In a small chokepoint. All 300 Spartans died.....after the Persians found a way to get behind them. Amazing tactical work.

There is not alot of songs that send shivers down my spine evry time i listen, but this is one. I love this song and its message. Which is exactly why im joinin the Corps next year. I love this country, we love in the best country on earth, and I damn well intend on doing my part to keep it that way. To all members of the US Military past, present, and future SEMPER FI Do or Die.There are some people who still appreciate what you have done and continue to do for us.

Something like what happened in Vietnam makes me wonder if we should simply nuke these tiny countrys. Only if we go to war with them of course. Seriously,the reason we lost so many men in Vietnam is something like what happened in The Battle of Thermopylae. 300 Spartans on the frontlines(A couple thousand lesser soldiers behind them) took on the massive Persian army. In a small chokepoint. All 300 Spartans died.....after the Persians found a way to get behind them. Amazing tactical work.

Hearing this song makes me mad that Vietnam was a war where tons of brave,young, and proud American boys were killed just for what they Took to be taken back by the NVA or vietcong. I'm glad my grandpa was in airforce, not with those unfortunate men on The ground

My grandad was in the marines during the korean war almost lost his life three times the worst being a grenade going of almost on his leg but god most have blocked all the lethal shraplnal he still has 3 onces of the grenade in his leg and still walks tall

My grandpa was a heavy gunner and while he was in his trench a Nva with a katana cut his leg off he told me he was laying there ready to die finishing his prayers and his sergeant knocked the Nva soldier on his ass and unloaded on him with an M16. @videogeek95 shut the hell up dude my cousin is a united states marine who was almost killed in battle fighting for our freedoms and he voluntarily joined the service to fight for our freedoms and he was not drag out of the fucking house kicking and screaming, and three other people on his platoon were shoot in the head and killed after voluntarily joined the service and fought for our freedoms to the death of them so I don't want to hear any shit from you about this anymore dude
