Of course, Abomination is a "z" movie, not really a good one, but its lackustre realisation, its distanciation, gives to it some surrealism ( when suddenly, for example, a part of monster comes up from every kitchen's cupboard in this passage). It's both horrible, gross and funny, and Max Raven's film is not worst than the more appreciate gratuitos H.G. Lewis'gore movies for me.

This movie, The Abomination, when I was a kid was the most grotesque thing I had ever watched. The action starts when that weird dude with the shade spits up a tumor that moves on its own into the mouth of his mother. Gets weirder and more disgusting. Chainsaw chopping a head in two at one point. But looking back it's so ridiculously campy and cheesy. Thanks for the post.
