I think most people lump all alternitive forms of music under the punk Banner.

Most people , if you say the word "punk" , think of "Hardcore" bands , but 500 million years ago anything under ground was first called "punk and then sub-grouped into other catigories. But I do agree , I love this sound and hope it will forever live on. there are still alot od cool shit to be written and played in this genre. I have heard it is making a resurgence which I hope it is true.

Even the New-wave songs on there. Of whom mentioned the Quakes earlier, you should know this, as the Quakes brought in the occassional New-wave influence. You have to except that the American Psycho scene is far, far different from that of Europe, which doesn't make it worse or better, it's variety. Thus forth it reasures pyschobilly will never die.
