Anyone else actually thing the heaven benchmark is a bit shit? Personally, I get such strangely inconsistent results with it I dont bother anymore. back with futuremark for now. I actually got higher scores with an i7 950 than with an i7 980 with a bigger oc. Also the i7 950 had a 6970 and a 6990. the 980 had dual 6990s. So I changed over and went dual 6990s to the i7 950 to test it. The score improved and just about crucifed my 980x. No similar issue with furmark

@Racmkd For me. More than 2 months so far. No idea how long in total. Time will tell but I will probably sell it on before it dies to be honest. I only bought it because I have been waiting for sandybridge to go away and get replaced by ivybridge because I tend to use quad fire and tri sli as well as other pcie devices. So take 40 pcie and try squeezing that down a native 16 pcie slot. No matter the tricks used to hide this on the mobo. The cpu bottleneck with always be there. I need Ivybridge

I have exactly the same system as this guy, and I set everything the same way and I had the following problems:

1-Opening Word takes exactly 2minutes 33 seconds.

2-Copy and paste no longer works

3-I get a blue screen while on calculator doing square roots.

Stable in Heaven Benchmark you can say, nothing more. Try prime95 for at least several hours, before calling it stable. I had my CPU crash when I was writing my thesis because of this. Be carfeul you never know when O/C can crash on you.
