Its a shame that ford didn't produce more 4 bolt main blocks and better ones. I almost got a A4 block but it needed sleeved and was allready .030 over. Someday hope to have a man 0 war in a ford ranger with a 408.
@etkokopelli just a thought, but have you ever considered ported N heads? They have RIDICULOUS flow, not to mention they're 10 degree heads, so you can up the lift on the cam without flycutting or custom pistons. Pair them with a set of Jesel or T&D shaft mounts and you'll have the potential to hit 9000+ depending on your cam.

Only did 603rwhp at 10lbs of boost. No its not a stock block, World Products Man'O'War 408.
