a new company has bought the GC RR. As of now. THE USE OF THE STEAM ENGINES IS DISCONTINUED. The steam shop employees have allready been laid off, and the engines are to be MOTHBALLED and put on DISPLAY. Reason? Money may have some part of it. But the main reason appears to be: ENVIROMENTAL CONCERNS.
the 'greenies' are hard leftists that want to tear down anything that represents the west and our technological achievements. they have political goals - ala al gore - and hide behind environmental concerns to get what they want. global warming is a big hoax and gore won't even debate the issue with real scientists. these bastards would like to see cars dismantled and put everyone on bicycles. they're like watermelons i.e. green on the outside and red on the inside. tree hugging communists.
These videos are great! Finding out that the Railway existed has been main impetus for wanting to go to the Grand Canyon itself (blame it on Disneyland... "You mean I can take a REAL steam train to the REAL Gand Canyon?! Wow!").
But yeah, I'd love to see your video of the Canyon too!
