Filled with the Holy Spirit - Part 1

In my spiritual brake down all my sins flashed through me I fell to the ground in waiting for satan to take me. Father in heaven please help me in Jesus I pray Amen passed my lips.my sisters dog that I beat and abused places his head on my arm.I flashed on Jesus and his sacrifice and we prayed. I was saved the Holy Spirit was finally with me. I fell broken but raised up reborn and ready to rebuild. Dudly is my best friend now. glory to God for all his creations Amen.I've heard crazier stories.

Great testimony, gorilla199! I know where you are coming from! I've experienced the Holy Ghost (The Great Comforter) a few times over the past few years myself. As you said, "it's an ineffable, wonderful & peaceful experience!!" It's hard to explain; however, I felt this "wave" of peace & calmness permeating my entire body.

I can relate with you Gorilla, I never realized how insecure I was before I received the Holy Spirit. Now I do not care if people look at me, I actually want them to see the joy of the Lord in me now and I pray it rubs off on them.

Firstly, i am an atheist. However, i found this video quite touching. In the sense that you claimed to be lifted from your depression by jesus. I would say that the depression was lifted by the people on the alpha course and that pure social acceptance and recognition allowed you to become a stronger person. It is good to see how other humans can help one another through bad times...even if you claim it to be a supernatural entity...PS no shame in crying...im an actor i do it a lot! Peace.
