  • hey and if you dont mind me asking....could you send me the link to those valve covers?

  • carbs are so much simpler imo!!

  • What did you do with all of the efi wiring?

  • UR MY BOY BLUE!!! Nice engine, nice Stang. I just recently purchased an 89 Crown Vic(whole car in awesome shape with 1 ft rusted frame area $600) for the motor for a 95 4Runner engine swap. Gonna fix frame n drive while my 4runner is being prepped. But in the meantime i will b buying the rebuild parts for motor as well. Im gonna try to document both processes if times allows it. My work can get crazy hrs going n travel as well. Hoping its all done b4 first snow here in WI.

  • What would be the draw back or problem regulating the in tank pump? does the in tank pump produce more psi than a regulator can handle? I also can not see the place where a mechanical pump would go on my 89 5.0 block. Is that because it was not meant to have one. I am ready for my conversion so I really need one of you fellas to help a brotha out, heh heh heh.

  • hey mann got the same car just bought the guy says it a late 60s style 302 its in the car the power wire and ground are the only wires ran right now i dont know what else to do or how to do it any help just want to get it runnin

  • @EDUBBIAN Oh man, it's hard to tell. It can be a variety of things. Im sure its a carb setup. When you crank the car, does it turn? does it hesitate?.... need more info to help...

  • Dude.... not worth taking out the efi out of anything (coming from someone who doesn't own anything with an efi lol) it is just too obnoxious in cold weather...

  • I'm thinking about doing the EFI to Carb swap too, but what do you do about the vacuum lines? That's the part that confuses me the most, thanks.

  • im wanting to turn my 93 carburated are you able to regulate the stock fuel pump back or will i need to replace it with a new one ??

  • @likwidcourage1 Get a new one for sure.

  • got it all fiured out was not that hard but thanks for the wise ass comment pencil neck

  • what .30 over means are the pistons .30'' larger in diameter?

  • 0.030 inch over the initial diameter

  • @2605830 .030 and yes!

  • Hi i just bought a 86 bronco off a buddy which was origionally a automatic fuel injected and he made it manual and put in a 351 windsor and carburated. the wiring harness on the engine is different than on the truck. it runs but he didn't hook up the gas tank wires cause he didn't know if it would cause a spark and blow up...not sure what i should do? also the only guages that work are the batt guage. any ideas?

  • @calgarian33 buy an original engine and trans and put it in.

  • if you could i really need a list on all the parts you needed to buy for just the carburater conversion i have to do this to my 91''gt

  • nice...

  • How are you planning on keeping your speedometer working? Or your stock tach and other stock gauges? Or is that an issue for you? It is for me, but some don't care.

  • Unfortunately, this project has slowed down a bit, it will eventually be finished, but once I do get to the gauges, I plan to replace ALL the stock gauges with Autometer gauges. The entire dash will eventually be replaced as well.. This car is going to be 100% commited to track racing only. As well as my 1g AWD DSM. Chances are, my 4 cylinder will be faster.. LOL.

  • I understand. If you build the motor right, and if everything is equal, the mustang will be a lot faster. However, if you dump more money into the 4 cyl, then it will undoubtedly be faster.

  • The 4g63 has tremendous amounts of potential thats locked away from simple factory restrictions. I've applied less than $1000.00 dollars into my $1000.00 dollar 93' GSX and have already hit a 13.2 with bad traction. I've worked on many different sports cars for the past 10+ years and have found the 4g63 the easiest, most effecient engines to date. Dont get me wrong, I'm a big Mustang guy and plan to get the mustang to its true potential, but I love DSM's...

  • haha yo shawn keep it up bro, cant wait to see ur talon and stang running...we gotta represent the RGV. dsm guy

  • by the way bro do you live in apartment complex? cuz if you do your lucky the damn landlord doesnt get on your ass,cuz when i used to live in apartment the fucken old bitch landlord was on my ass everyday till i ran her over nah J/k i just moved to a house but nice job on your stang. hechale ganas compa what part of texas you from?

  • LOL, yeah i own my own home with 3 a car garage and a bedroom commited to building my engines in. So i got it pretty good as far as where i can build my car. Im from South Texas. Check out my youtube page. Thanks for watching my vid bro.

  • hey bro are put in a 04 cobra terminator front end? what tranny are you installing and does anybody has a power steering pump bracket for sale for a 94-95 short style water pump hard to come by one

  • Nah, im going with a 94-95 cobra front end and some new fenders with a Carbon Fiber Cowl hood if the funds allow me.

  • Good job man how is it comming this is what I want to do,can you break down your price list so far?

  • Actually, the most expensive part I can think of are the Edelbrock performer heads ($1000.00+/-)that I plan to buy very soon. I'm surprised how inexpensive it is to seriously modify a 5.0. Its awesome. I've got most of the parts already except small things. She should be up and running by the end of the year.. Then comes body work. Thanks for the support bro!

  • awesome job. I just did a 331 dss pro bullit swap in my 94 w/procharger lost boost due to lower compression and more open track heat intake any suggestions on where to go from here?

  • awsome man nice job

carb swap cheaper than tunning EFI my buddy says it give more torque also but i am not sure about it if you go with a set of AFR or TF heads well get more power of the box.

we want to see the stang in action;)

  • Bad ass bro. Good luck with this project

  • I KNOW!! I cant wait till she is up and running either! I sold my 1997 GST Turbo Eclipse to get this project going. Good thing I still have my 94' AWD Talon to fall back on incase this car gets beat on the street. Haha. But my future plans once this car is running is running a 150-200shot of N20, and a Hellion Turbo Kit for a carb setup *(And possibly a 351w swap). It will get interesting real soon.. Thanks for watching!!

  • WooHoo--5stars :D

  • WOW you need some music! Try iTunes!

  • There is music on the video. They got me for copyright so I chose a song. I can hear it just fine.. cant you?---If not, one of us did something wrong, but I can hear Drowning pool just fine.. It even offers me to download it for .99 cents. thanks for watching my video bro. This is my new project that im working on right now and the progression is happening quick. At this rate, she will be at the track in a matter of a few months!

  • In other words get a song that doesn't make my ears want to bleed.

    I HATE mental !

  • hehe...to each his own... Me and my buddies think drowning pool is a perfect match..
