  • Hmm... pretty disapointed, this version of the song is absolutely epic in Danish, this one just kinda... sucks

but then again the movie version of this song in English, is absolutely and beyond doubt amazing, whereas the Danish one is kind of disapointing... so I guess we're even xD

  • Ooooh no, the actual movie version is so much better!

  • please pray for my friends Judy's

  • God Help the Outcasts

this song reminds me of my church Harvest Life Center

I have a special prayer request please pray for my mom

  • That's Bette Midler same voice actress of Georgette.

  • They should've played this on the sequel's end credits.

  • She sounds like she doesn't have any emotion invested in the song... It's flat... that's the best way I can phrase it :/

  • It's not that great until the end where it adds more feeling

however I still like the original more

  • Amazing voice but I'm not........ feeling it. Maybe it's the different lyrics, lack of chorus, and the feeling in her voice makes it seem as if the meaning is different than the original. ........... or maybe it's just me.

  • eh...she has a nice voice but...there no forceful feeling like in the other one...

  • I dunno guys, this sounds like the pop version of a song that they put into the credits of a lot of Disney films. Not saying it's bad, I like both this and the film version. Bette Midler gets better toward the end of the song in this.

  • bette midler sings this version she's more broadway anyway

  • Give her a break. This is a nice, lighter end to a wonderful, deep and moving soundtrack. Those who think she's singing it without feeling, please go to minute 2:47 and listen until the end. I agree that the beginning seems haphazard and hurried but that is easily forgotten by its smooth-jazzy feel that is not as intense as the movie version.

  • what the!!!!!! this is supposed to be like a prayer, not some bouncy pop song D: what were they thinking?!

  • eh... pass. the film version is way better.

  • Its too fast on the wrong parts. In my opinion, this song is an slow and emotional song.

  • this is way more epic in the actually film scene. Bette Midler is amazing but Heidi's version is sooo much more moving

  • No, this isn't heartfelt enough. :/ It sounds strange.

  • @wildKITTYappeared that's because it is strange...

  • Nah, this song doesn't have that special touch to it.

Here it just sounds like another song without a meaning. Someone just singing it.

    There is no feeling.

  • @iriscandyman how can you say that God Help the outcasts has no feeling

this is the only song besides All 4 One Someday that has do with prayer

how can those idiots at Disney mix prayer and lust in the same soundtrack

    in regards to hellfire

  • @mikemelvyn1634 This movie is not only about God worship. So it's only natural the opposite (lust, sin etc) that is depicted in Frollo would occur. Dude. The story would be worthless without him! And this version, although the same lyrics, doesn't quite have the same feeling to it.

  • Walt Disney has some incredible song writers...This song is sooo moving...Thank you for posting this xo

  • Hm... I don't really like this version nearly as much as the in-movie version. Her voice isn't as sweet as Heidi Mollenhauer's and the chorus kind of makes it more epic.

  • Who sings this?

  • @unrealdwarf1 Bette Midler.
