  • 4x13 ?!

  • matching bathropes...? come on!

  • @zeldagirly22 Another thing to consider is that Bill is being kept very central in the show, whereas in the books he isn't, and this happens at the expense of other characters. The queen's alive much longer in the books but in TB was killed for Bill to take her place, Pam's book 4 storyline was similarly given to Bill etc... plus he must always be core of Sookie's love life, hence the stupid cheesy triangle. So more than Bill, most hate his impact on the general narrative and character dynamics.

  • I love Sookie and all, but why would such a dorky little girl have the attention and unconditional love of a 1000 year old sexy viking vampire and a couple hundred year old southern hunk vampire? I don't get it.

  • @ShanniesANerd I totally wondered that too, but look at society today...you see it everyhwere, if anything, it makes them feel human when the feel for a girl like Sook you know?

  • she is blind or something..???? look at eric..!!

  • Omg, Sookie is so stupid! Finally Eric says "i love you" to somebody and so... Omg i cry!:( I just love Eric Northman!-3

  • next!!!!i think she will have sex with alcide finally cause seems that tb dont follow anyway the books :S too bad for me cause im definetelly in eric"s team :P

  • They shouldn't have made Eric remember right after the spell was broken. I think it would have been better if they dragged it out like in the books.

  • I can respect the fact she didnt want to hurt either of them

  • @twiggysangel13 Actually her reasoning was really stupid: she hurt all of them, including herself and didn't solve anything. She should have just said she was confused and needed some time alone. THAT would've made more sense as a motive.

  • @trixiedoor I dont really watch this show the clips were recommended so i watched seems interesting tho. but by picking neither of them they arent gonna be fighting amongst themselves over her...

  • i cnt blive she freakng broke eric's heart the one time he's opened up n loved deeply..does she know what it means for Eric fucking northman to say i love you to someone?! the world must be ending..sorry guys for all the ranting

  • *bill's speech* blah blah blah..snooze..blah *eric's speech* finally..skipped to the good part

  • this bitch must feel like a queen..with these dudes pining over her..fuck her mehn! eric doesnt need this shit *pissed*

  • Just have a threesome and get it over with you three. XD

  • thats messed up. when finally eric gets his memory back and he still has to try to be with sookie!! >.< when is she gonna stay with one guy and stay with them??

  • There's too much togetherness between Bill, Sookie, & Eric in the break-up scene. I remember how uncomfortable Sookie always felt in the books being in the same room with the 2 vamps with each vamp knowing she slept with the other. So weird that she would break up with them in front of each other that way.

  • maybe her lack of blood... could explain her idiocy? nah!

  • Was she getting turned on or is just me?

  • @yasyall23 it isn't just you.

  • If you want my opinion; I think Alcide and Sookie will hook up briefly but; then Her and Eric will get back together

  • well i bet it was well awkward for them after she left....

  • Sookie you're stupid!!! how could someone walk away from eric :D

  • its just like the bachlorette

  • Comment removed

  • They're like babies feeding from their mother lol

  • Eric all the way!

  • Sookie's a pimp.

  • bill i hate him. ERIC <3

  • You know, everyone is so concerned that the vamps may only want Sookie because of her fairy blood that nobody seems to ask if Sookie would have wanted either Bill or Eric if she didn't drink their blood. Sookie's attraction to both is clear in the books, but not so much on the show.

  • @askarsfan2011 Anyway, one thing that's pretty consistent (at least till now because I just don't trust this show anymore) is that vampire blood does not cause FEELINGS. It only causes sexual attraction. Laffy had a ton of Eric's blood but he didn't get a crush... he had no problem falling for Jesus. Of course that initial heightened attraction might be used to manipulate a naive girl's emotions, as Bill undoubtedely did, but that's a whole other thing.

  • @trixiedoor Personally, I think that vamp blood just enhances the libido & makes humans process their issues thru their libido in their dreams. It doesn't create feelings or attraction; it may just seem that way because the dreams appear as sex dreams, but they are actually about much deeper issues. It makes sense since the vamps are all about the libido--the hunger for blood & sex. I think we are not supposed to interpret the dreams so literally. I see Freudian overtones to them.

  • @askarsfan2011 I agree, except for the fact that it clearly enhances the libido in relation to the specific vampire you drink from, not just in general. That's why Sam's dreams were about Bill, Lafayette's about Eric etc... but yeah, dreams are always rielaborations of our issues and deeper feelings. Sookie's dreams have always been pretty well constructed, though I felt that threesome monstruosity in season 4 completely missed the mark. Conceptually murky and emotionally implausible.

  • @trixiedoor Anna suggested the 3some dream, but it's actually based on a moment in the books in which Sookie wonders if a 3some is a way to end the Bill/Eric competition. So I don't think it's that much off. Anyway, Sookie's dreams are never about Bill or Eric but about the duality of her life--the conflict between her life w/ vamps & the normal life that she wants. She wants silence + family. Like I mentioned elsewhere, Sookie = Id, Eric= Ego, & Bill = Superego in Sookie's dreams.

  • @trixiedoor Also Sam had a lot of Bill's blood, but didn't fall in love with him. Although, I think the dreams did bother him for a while. That may be why he was so pissed off all the time in S3. He wasn't sleeping well. LOL

  • @askarsfan2011 And LOL about Sam! Poor guy I don't blame him, I wouldn't like being forced to dream about Bill either...

  • My issue with the break up scene is that it makes no sense in the context of Sookie's dream and her conversation with Eric right after he got his memory back. During those events, Sookie clearly hypothesized that her feelings for Bill and for Eric may be influenced by their blood. Yet in the finale she just tells them that she's choosing nether because she loves both. Why not have Sookie just tell them that she can't trust her feelings? (She had no problem telling Eric in the books.)

  • @askarsfan2011 EXACTLY. That's why I say that Sookie is mostly horribly written, it's as if her character is just an afterthought for the writers. And the whole blood issue is getting more and more confusing and inconsistent. I don't think even Ball himself knows exactly how it works at this point... things were set up a certain way and then never really explored to their full consequences... Why? Who knows. Probably they just don't care.

  • Marnie is right. Nobody cares what she wants. That's because she's the lamest villain in TB history. Even Crystal was better developed and more interesting than her.

  • This fucking sucks!! Hahaha!! Loved that

  • .... Eric... I'd pick him..... :D

  • i love her but.. she a hoe lol

  • The minute I saw this part I was so pist, I hated her

  • sookie and bill fan team sookie and bill

  • @mssookie1 Plus, the writing for the E/S relationship in season 4 was incredibly bad on every level. I study screenwriting and the whole thing was a masterclass in how NOT to write romance. EVERY possible mistake in terms of character development and emotional consistency, set up, pacing, dramatic tension, momentum building etc, you name it, it was there. It's amazing how they managed to throw away all previous build up and potential. no wonder lots of people felt underwhelmed and ripped off...

  • @mssookie1 honestly, I think most of it has nothing to do with actors chemistry. its the damn WRITING. Most people in season 2 felt Sookie and Eric had way more chemistry than her and Bill, and that's because the characters as written worked well together: the story still retained something of the book dynamic. Then it progressively got away from that in season 3 and ESPECIALLY 4. The show as a whole has always magnified B/S and castrated/diminished E/S interaction.

  • @trixiedoor I read somewhere that it's easier for the actors to get the full gist of a character from beginning/ middle/ end, when it comes to making a movie. Here, on this show, the actors don't know what is to happen from epi to epi.. I think it's harder to "read" the character they're playing from beginning to end. The actors that read the books will kind of get the characters they're portraying from start to finish.

  • Eric's vulnerability at 10:14....heart-breaking. Fuckin' Sookie.

  • Where did they disappear to? Sorry, i'm a new fan.

  • fuck you bill......ERIC I LOVE YOU <3

  • i hope they will stick to the book's course of events

  • I can understand why it is so difficult for Sookie to choose from the two. Bill is all about logic, strong sense of self, and control. Eric is all zeal, acts on emotions, and steadfast. I just hope she chooses Eric in the end. They are meant to be together since season one; they have felt something for the other.

  • @blackcat66 Bill is all about logic and control??? Since when? If anything, Eric is the one with a strategic mind and the one who was trained to suppress all emotion. see season 3: Eric actually succeeds in fooling Russell, saving Pam, ang getting his revenge... Bill leads Russell to Sookie, gets saved by her and then loses control almost killing her, and his plan for killing Eric and Pam fails miserably...

  • Brother-Husbands for the win!

  • what :O why is Sookie asking for forgiveness, when clearly Bill was in the wrong?!?

  • @bunnyboome cause she is an idiot blonde woman that we can make an example off?:P

  • She's a dumbass.

  • This is so weird. I can understand her situation though...it sucks! I love eric, and I know Bill did lie to her, but Eric would have done the same if he was in Bills situation. And he's manipulated Sookie plenty of times. Gah, what a hard descision!

  • @MsFloopdedoop Bill didn't just lie to her,he also let her get beaten up to give her his blood and made it look like a noble action. But no one remembers that, since the show never mentions it while everything Eric does is always talked up as evil... and the real problem of Bill/sookie is that their whole relationship wasn't based in honesty and truly knowing each other. Eric just isn't like that, he's honest with who he is and doesn't hide his darkness.

  • @trixiedoor I do remember that of course! And it is mentioned in the season 3 finaled when Eric walks up to Sookies door when Bills there. But my whole point is, Eric would have done the same if the queen asked him too most likely. And I don't really beleive there was nothing true about the bill/sookie relationship. I'd rather her be with Eric, but I can still see how her heart would lie with BIll in a way!

  • @MsFloopdedoop I don't think Eric would have gone about it that way, it's really not his style. Also, he's just not suited for the procuring profession, which Bill obviously is.

I'm not saying their feelings weren't true, but the Bill Sookie knew is not who he is, and he doesn't really understand her IMO.

The way Sookie forgave Bill SO quickly just doesn't make sense, it's plain bad writing. Her character development is questionable at best...

  • I am so mad that they ended it this way...Sookie and Eric obviously belong together. At least I have the comfort that if they hold the book storyline up they will be together....eventually

  • @shortbuschick1462 blessed your words dude!i wish they follow the book story and soon sookie will yelled to eric after quin

  • Sookie must be brain dead. She should have chosen Eric. As for Bill, after she had Eric how could she go back to Bill? Eric is beyond sexy!

  • The dream version was better :/

Seriously Sookie should just make her own harem with Eric and Bill. Maybe Alcide too.

  • I love bill way more then eric

  • I love bill and i wish i could merry him so we could be together foever

  • All that tension, built for nothing, she can't choose either? SERIOUSLY?

  • NO....NOOOOOOO!!!! SOOKIE AND ERIC FOREVAAAA...fuck you Bill....

  • NOOO, I wanted Eric and Sookie not Bill and Sookie :(((

  • awk u cut out the best bit lol were feeling a little crispy up here lol

  • The resolution of the witch story is so anti-climactic. At the end all we see is a confused, bitter middle-aged woman who didn't have any friends in high school. I feel like Marnie's character was completely underdeveloped. I wish we got to see some of her pain and torment in flashbacks or something. Then we really empathize. Even Antonia's plight and choices are more understandable.

  • this is so poor for Eric

  • Well, at least they'll know that she's heartbroken too since they drank her blood...

  • hahahaha : I liked u better when u were brain damaged,, the only thing funny bills said, go eric rawr sexy

  • BOTH OF THEM !

  • @XxXzoeFairchildXxX I dunno, I wouldn't mind borrowing Eric from her on Wednesdays.. xP

  • that's cheating you can't look from side to side as your profess your feelings!

  • Lucky duck....2 men at the same time?!

  • Eric and Bill should both dump Sookies dumb ass and go for each other. Their banter is infectious

  • This is how a love triangle is done.

Bill will always be #1. I love me some Eric and Sookie but Bill is her OTP. Sigh. Poor Eric.

  • @NicolaWriter Actually I think this is one of the worst love triangles ever on TV... it's so inconsistent, forced and poorly written. None of it makes any emotional sense, and Sookie ends up looking like a mere plot device. And I won't even get into the way they mistreated eric's character this season...

  • @trixiedoor

I see where you are coming from. I enjoyed the angst and love scenes though, lol. What undermines it even more is that we aren't entirely sure if they are gaga for Sookie because of herself or the fact she's Fae. That little throw-in really undermined both pairings in a really bad way and shouldn't have been included.

As for Eric and Bill,is it just me or are you seeing a bit of Twilight-esque foolishness going on with this triangle?

  • @NicolaWriter

Because both Eric and Bill have completely lost their balls. Sappy Eric wasn't something I particularly enjoyed.

  • @NicolaWriter

I think Twilight is inherently stupid, but even that made more sense, in its context, than what TB has turned into this season.

Eric's amnesia had such potential for great character development and it was completely wasted. The whole arc was underwhelming, anticlimatic and infused with some of the most cringeworhty cheesy dialogue I've ever heard. The post-amnesia was mishandled as well. Tons of "good" angst and emotional tention castrated by having him remember immediately.

  • @NicolaWriter Sookie's character makes absolutely no sense anymore. Her emotional responses are unbelievable and completely inconsistent from one episode to the other. The impact of Bill's betrayal was ignored, all for the sake of forcing a love triangle back into the narrative, when actually it should have been played up more in season 2 and ended for good in season 3. I no longer buy the characters motivations or see any direction in the story. IMO they really messed up BADLY.

  • @trixiedoor

They are writing her like the later books Sookie. Sookie in the early part of the series was a very consistent character. I agree with you completely.

  • @NicolaWriter Honestly I don't feel like the blood thing is much of a problem... I think it's been made pretty clear that they both genuinely love her regardless. It's actually the least of my problems with the writing/ general handling of Sookie's relationships. The real issue is the lack of a cohesive, organic arc of growth. This love triangle bullshit especially betrays all previous build up and characterization. I've seen better in daytime brazilian soaps...

  • @NicolaWriter

And while I too enjoy the pretty, that's not enough to keep me watching and it's just sad that this is all that's left of a once exciting show...

  • @NicolaWriter

Oh, and the whole Fae business is another huge FAIL. I dont even know why they introduced them and then did so little with them. Also, they used that to basically make Sookie the equivalent af a Graal, a desirable object around which to develop the action. From a narrative standpoint, 3she has no real agency, she's just a prop for the other characters. So much for strong female protagonists...

  • @trixiedoor

Pretty much. The Fae could have been quite interesting and even led to some character exploration for Sookie and growth. I don't put too much stock in either pairing because there is no way of knowing if without the Fae ancestry, would either vampire even notice her. I just enjoy the pretty, lol.

  • At 7:29 I would of been like ummmm, lets have sex......(:

  • Bill is dick! i never liked him! even in the books!

  • I'm probably alone in my thinking here, but Adele Stackhouse kicks more ass than everyone else in this show put together.

  • What the hell is LaMarnie wearing?

  • she's crazy... at least pick one of them!

  • i wanna cry oh wait i already am

  • MAY I JUST SAY THAT ERIC ASKED IF SHE WAS OKAY AND STOPPED FIRST!!!!!!! XD HE IS SO THE BETTER CHOICE

  • sookie is soooo stupid i cant stand the bitch eric can do better not some bitch who loves him for like half the season then all of a sudden wants bill after drinking his blood. that not love that just a sick obessession.

  • I'd be upset if I didn't know how this plays out in the books :) Great way to finish the season! Thank you OpaJ100 for putting all these scenes up!

  • Fucking Sookie .l. !!

  • Damn you Sookie! I totally agree with Eric! Bill had his chace... I can't believe that Sookie missed a chance to be with Eric! That grazy girl... Eric = PERFECTION! ;)

  • Fucking damn sookie.

  • yeah sookie, hope it hurts -_-.. foolish girl

  • Damn Sookie she gets the BIG and AWESOME chance to get Eric... and she throws it away!... I think somone has a HUGE mentally disturbed!

F*ck Bill I mean his not even cute...

But Eric is created by the God himself :D! <3

  • Damn it sookie look into erics eyes! He is soo hot and hes right. Bill had his chance but he blew it! Sookie and Eric for the win! Hope they get together in the 5th season!

  • @brocky501 Yes!! You are so right!!

  • Whats up Sookie couldn't you have Bill on Sunday, Monday, Tuesdays and Eric on Thursday , Friday Saturday eh!!

  • @TheCarasso And on Wednesdays both?

  • @TheCarasso And Wednesdays belong to Alcide. Or possibly a shopping day with Pam.

  • I was hopeing for some real eric and sookie action but what ever Im just happy to get the real eric back lets hope for a better 5th season

  • God damn it sookie!!!! I agree with eric - bill had his shot and now it's eric's turn!

  • Fucking Sookie! She broke Eric's heart! At least she isn't with Bill either.

  • Adele message always makes me cry. "We're all alone at the end." :-(

  • arghhhh.... sookie GETS with eric in the book I guess I have to make due
