I usually just double bottom mount to get to it quicker, and this grinds like a yoyojam bearing in the video. I prefer my Dif-e-yo Bare Bones. Just me. ;)

@petertheallblack i had the same problem, you just need to learn how to adjust your hands properly. watch the video and see how he has his hands. its not much of a help, but it's the easiest way i can explain it. hope it helps.

@Frank3st3in12 i think your doing something wrong or did you clean it in the past with thick lube because if so thick lube wont help with string tricks you need thin lune or you are just getting the yoyo to close to your finger and its stopping it or the string is rubbing the yoyo

does anyone know why my yo-yo keeps catching on this one, right as i bring my non-throw hand finger over my throw hand (just before getting it into position). Everything goes great up until then, but as soon as my finger crosses over it snaps into my knuckle. am i doing it wrong or is my yo-yo just too responsive?

@johnthebillygoat i would just say your yoyo is too responsive. try loosening it (twisting the yoyo apart) as far as you can without there being a gap between the bearing and the inside of the yoyo, i hope that makes sense. this will make it a little less responsive.

If you can't get it just keep working on the split bottom cuz I found that the hardest part while working on that I slowly finished up the rest of it right now I'm on my 3rd day of training and I'm on the dismount....also as I practiced my slepping slowly got better.

really? it takes a few weeks to break it in... btw the stock string turns to compleate bs after a few short hours (mine did anyways) and it helps if you have new string and yoyo jam thin lube for it... its all in the bearing... keep it nice and clean ;)

3. yoyonation's dif-e-yo konkave bearning kit for yoyo jam yoyos. that is what he (and others) use ;) including myself hehe

@grachel69 hello, if its cotton based string that would be one of the reasions... however polyester sting works awsome for myself! According to many pros...polyester & cotton mixed sting works the best and is widely used....btw yoyo jam creates wonderfully epic yoyos there sting on the other hand sucks @ss... solution= yoyo nation with fast shipping and everything! practice practice practice lol...but it might help if you use a string trick yoyo lol...not a looping yoyo.... anything that is butterfly shaped should be classified as a trick trick yoyo....
