you can disable the irshellautoboot plugin in your recovery menu if you don't like it to automatically start up. Whenever I start doing anything in irshell(starting a umd, song, anything pretty much), it freezes and my psp turns off after a second or two.

I'm not sure if it will work correctly on PSP slim. I recommend this for psp FAT

*Turns on psp and watches* ...and it works! Wow, I'm impressed! Nobody I know could figure this out lol great work, d00d! Whoever bricked their psp on this must've been in a hurry for irshell. I don't know much about bricking, but try going to the recovery system and turn off the "irsautorun" option under plugins because the plugin will try to autorun the iRShell app and whenever your psp is on. I only hope you have a recovery menu! ( Hold R when turning on psp ) Good luck!

1: I don't know what the heck you did with your psp but if you listened to the directions and if your psp was 4.01 m33-1 or 2 it would have worked fine.
