I remember a game for the vic-20, it was a maze type game that used the key board as the input and involved walking around picking up spells the use on enemies. I remember the fire spell, the petrify spell and the mirror spell as well as the default weapon that was a light saber. I also remember currency was jade and you could buy a life back if you died but having too much jade sapped life points when you moved. I just don't remember the name of the game and have not seen any videos of it.
For that purpose you may use an additional sd2iec based drive, C64-SD, SD2IEC or uIEC3, just copy what you want (PRG, D64, D81) to the Secur Digital memory card from your PC and play them to the VIC.
The Mega-Cart has a build-in browser for sd2iec based drives that auto detect the proper memory configuration (unexpanded, +3K, +8K or more) of the program you want to load.
Yes Jetpac is a good game, btw the Mega-Cart contains all Vic cart games and some user requested tape/disk game and this game was not requested, sorry
Oh no problem, sorry if came off as if I were entitled to it, I will definitely get the Mega Cart once I get a Vic-20. Great value, and I love the fact that you guys included cassette tape games!
Love the cartridge and its flexible memory expansion.
Owning and playing this Mega-Cart on a real VIC is the best way to experience the Wonder Computer of the '80s ... but for you digital enthusiasts, be assured that you can also dump your Mega-Cart ROM to a file and it can be emulated on VICE 2.2 -- awesome!!
Back in the 80s, I did bought a VIC-20 game titled Galaxia, a sipole anf fun shoot'em up game. Too bad, it doesn't seem to be included in this compilation.
around £60?...might have to get this for my Vic which is still in good nick

Is it possible to include all those PD vic-20 programs on that cartridge? Especially the vic-20 demoscene PRGs?

It does look awesome, but why isn't Jetpac on there?? That's one game that I want the Vic-20 for, and, IMO, it's one of the best.

Yes this is the video of an original Vic-20 grabbed with a DVD-Recorder.
This is NOT emulation but a REAL VIC-20 in action after 25 years !!!

I dug around the Mega-Cart site quite a bit after seeing this - that thing is very cool. After the holidays I may need to make a purchase.
I even liked the Stayling Alive ensemble.

1) Switch OFF the Vic
2) Insert the cartridge in the expansion port on back
3) Switch ON the Vic
4) Enjoy yourself ;-)
