  • ใช่ค่ะ เพราะมากๆๆๆๆๆๆๆ มากที่สุด มากที่สุ้ดดด ^_____________^

  • เพราะมากๆเลยค่ะ

  • you sound amazing man, i have nothing but nice things to say but i think if you used a metronome a little you could have it just perfect. Keep up the good work and take what i say with a grain of salt if you ever see this, its obvious you know something I don't.

  • man,, i wish i were you

  • he was so cute.. so focus on his playing.. like nobody else in the world!

  • Wonderful and yes this is in DADGAD

I hope this child finds peace through his music because he sure gives peace out.

    Wonderful.

  • well...thats way better than me

  • absolutely unheard of. outstanding. for anybody to play pierres stuff is outstanding but this.. hats off!!!!!

  • sigh.... im speechless

  • è così bravo a questa età che a venti anni si sarà annoiato sicuramente della chitarra ahaha!

  • so cute !

  • you rocked it. I think your abilities are awesome. So if this was done 2007 I have to see how well you are doing now.

  • you know what, if i could play like that even now, i would be a happy man ! he has a great career ahead of him! even if his mother is useing the mixer in the background! brilliant

  • Wait, what tuning his he actually playing in??

  • DADGAD.

Just tune down the low e's and the b string

As far of my knowledge all Bensusan's songs are in DADGAD

  • still one of your bests

  • too twangy for this song

  • dude i dont even have hands that stretch like you man even at 20!

    d(-_-)b

  • *stunned*

  • Woh!

    Great cover from little fingers..

I hope someone save a little of time in the life of this little genius to play child games and not only bronze strings...

    with admiration

  • he practices no more than an hour or two a day.

Child geniuses should be pushed from 2 weeks on...

The school system is poor, classes dont get challenging till grade 12, and by then students are so used to slacking off that its hard to push the smart ones.

  • lol true for western countries. But in certain countries with good school system, you dont have time to do anything other than study. I guess it should be pretty slack where sungha lives, or maybe hes a genius too. anyways 1 to 2 hours per day is what some people spend on the internet, or just stoning and doing nothing

  • Said the dum one...

  • i could get lost in his magic fingers

  • Does anyone know the names of his originals? I'd like to watch them thanks much

  • missing you

    night flight

    starseeker

    perfect blue

    voyages with ulli

  • dont forget coco..

  • and Hazy sunshine.........which just puted up in the youtube

  • power of koreaa!!

  • wow....... wow.

  • Mad streches going on there.

At 44 and just getting back into the guitar. I might give up after seeing this.....nah I'm happy banging away at it :)

  • aziangurl1004, don't respond to krsong's nonsense;he's a musically illiterate racist and he's trying to tell you that YOU are a musically illiterate racist, just look at the 'discussion' he had with me cpl weeks ago. He's goofing up and blaming others. He's a very pathetic individual not worth communicating with. I bet he's still living with his mum, lol

  • See?

-DUTCH sarcasm (where's the sarcasm bit?)....

-NO ONE thinks your funny (are you thinking for others here?)

-Leave US alone....no worries, there's no US you ARE alone!

  • Let me tell you there have been more folks than you would care to imagine who mailed ME they were disgusted by your racism in every post an putting down Sungha in your 'criticisms' and then telling others not to be sarcastic or racist because the Jung family wouldn't appreciate it. Stop your racist towards Asians and Dutch (no you have no drugs, prostitutes or guns). You are the epitome of the'jumping to conclusions' and 'labeling' individual. If you're dutch youre doing drug, right? Grow up!

  • I'm not complaining, just observing the ongoing dumbness and ignorance of your posts. You don't seem to read your own posts either. Tell me where I insult the Asian community and prove the dirtyness of 'my'community. And it's you who disrespects the Jung family. I feel sorry for them to have a brainless fallout commenting on their kids musical endeavours. Now go back to your mummy, and complain about mean hanzzee of the dirty Netherlands. We don't want you here.

  • I'll explain it for the nth time:

There is no US, you are alone, unless your mummy is posting together with you.

More important, it's YOU who owes the Jung apology and it's YOU who owes the entire Dutch community, the Asian and now also the European community an apology, for your racist comments. Sungha and the Jung family urge you to see you leave this thread and so does the Asian and European community. We can forgive mistakes but racism has no place on this board! Apologize or GO!

  • he is korean . please pay attention to another people too =.=

  • fack this song is so hard!!! howd he play it so easily :(

  • i spent more than 2 hrs on listing to ur songs...n i still cant c no endin...ill go on watchin..n u have to go on with ur g-playin....i heared a lot of people play..bad comparision...there r famous people, real stars, who cant play that good...21st-century-mozart..just one question..how old r u?

u r makin it!best wishes for ur future

  • me too......

  • this kid doesnt understand all of this capatilizm bullcrap yall write...a smile is a smile in every country in this world. give one once in a while

  • Exactly!

  • krsongs, you have just shown what a piece of dumb dogpoop you really are by linking the country I'm from to a sarcastic comment directed at you guys, not the kid. I think I've made my appreciation of Sungha clear and you try to reverse the meaning of my words. You are so pathetic and retarded that it's you who should not return here.

  • who are 'we'???

and what's with all the racism?

  • im sorry, these are all replys to previous comments

  • ahhh....the projection king strikes again.

  • Always good to have 'knowledgable' folks burning the attempts of a young talent into the ground by commenting on their cognitive vs creative skills or whatever. Basically they're saying nobody should put their endeavours on a medium like YouTube unless their playing is at pro level.

Veeerrryy good advice on which knee the guitar should be put on and sharp observation about the 'connect'the dots style of a child who is learning to play. The kid should be whipped for not lifting at bar 4,8 or 16.

  • Hanzee,

I see the trouble I have caused by commenting on this video in the first place. I was not really criticizing him for not "lifting," just trying to justify how I think he was taught the song. I am sorry if I stepped out of bounds, and I appreciate your telling informing me of this without cursing at me, although your sarcasm is tiresome and perhaps lost on some viewers.

  • Ok, suva55. It would be different perhaps if you gave the same criticism to an adult guitar player. I'm of the opinion that, especially young kids should be empowered by constructive criticism in their endeavors. If that was your aim then maybe I've misread some of your posts. Thanks.

  • i was under the impression he taught himself......

  • He may be "amazing" because he is so young for what he is attempting. Heck, there are tons of kids out there doing all sorts of "amazing" stuff.

But there are passages and strings of phrases that get "lost in the translation" of the true free-flowing spirit of this song; a common trait of these Far East musical soldiers.

However this this kid could be "amazing" playing King Crimson's "Fracture" because of his "connect the dots" playing style.

Sorry but this may sting a little...

  • Krsongs, good point. The chord progression is at the bar, the phrase at the 4 bar, the antecedent at the 8 bar, and the period at the 16 bar. He doesn't lift at 4, 8, or 16, meaning that he probably was taught the song in linear fashion, bar-by-bar, which gets us back to my original comment regarding memorization skill. Wonder what he could do if he were taught differently... probably amazing things! Anyway, good to talk without the childish name-calling, I appreciate it.

  • Your amazing kid. I just saw some of your videos and OMFG I've been playing guitar for 5 years now and you're way lot better than me. Thums up. 5 again ^^

  • Dear crumpledpaper01,

Regardless of your views, I simply will never think you are stooping low, or acting like a child, or not acting 51 (whatever that means), and that is because I really do not know anything about you. Fair enough? Hmm?

  • oh but you misunderstood me. I think you are stooping low.

Anyway, This is a comment box that is made for people who wants to discuss about that kid not about your ability to twist words and insult others so pls leave. Thanks.

  • I believe I am discussing the music, and I think we disagree about it, but I would never ask you to leave or say you are stooping low because of your words or your views. Tell us what you think is "amazing" about this "kid" and then we will really be using these boards the way they should be used.

  • Katantoon,

I think what you mean is that you are ESL. So am I. Does that make you a racist too?

  • BTW, I appreciate "krsongs'" comments because he appears to understand the difference between cognitive and creative facility, and planned versus spontaneous dexterity tasks, and seems equally concerned about the disgraceful language used by others. Thanks, krsongs, for the insightful comments. You are obviously an experienced musician, and seem to understand one should be able to say that this is not "brilliant" without others taking it so personally. That's what chat is for.

  • I had no idea that claiming that this performance was not "brilliant" would cause such trouble. I think saying that I don't have talent or I'm jealous because I didn't think he was "brilliant" is absurd. I don't think telling someone who is cursing that their grammar is poor makes me a coward. There comes a stage in your musicality in which you do not have to use the f-word to make a point, and this what perhaps makes us different.

  • Whathegrandma- Ok ok. The kid does a good job in putting fingers on a certain part of a grid at a certain time... like Guitar Hero I guess.

Your comments certainly DO reflect a person who has "only been playing one year." You simply aren't "in the know." You have a lot to learn and you haven't the game to post such a rude comment.

    Unacceptable...

  • wow. completely amazing.

i think that the comments below are just ridiculous. i have been playing for a year now and i dont have that kind of talent. probably never will. you are just jealous and you can SEE that he has passion in the way his body moves.

dont try and put him down because hes amazing. he has talent which is something "chasedisgrace" and "suva55" and "krsongs" obviously dont have.

  • Always funny to see how some middle-aged, frustrated trolls are downplaying the ambitions of a kid who shows talent in whatever field. Should everybody be a prodigy? And what's wrong with a child showing what he's accomplished at a very young age? What about showing us some of your brillant accomplishments? Otherwise just shut the fuck up!

  • hanzee- The last line of your post is not appreciated. Watch your mouth.

  • he has his own music, he wrote two of them, go to his channel to view his profile, it says he wrote two songs.. great rendition!

  • i have to say, saying 'asian machine' is very rude in my opinion, because you seem to be implying that all asian children strive to be prodigys and the like. which is not entirely true.

  • i don't agree with the comments made above. If you have studied the guitar for over ten years, and you see somebody like him play, even if he were 30 years old, it's still heartwarming and impressive. even if he doesn't write his own music, it's still an achievement to play so many songs so good and with an own style.

  • see his latest vids and see how fuck up you acted. you may never rich the talent he is in now ...saying that .. we see the insecurity you gave for your sorry self

  • and you should include racism in yours since im not american, thank you for insulting my heritage and i see your hobby is insulting people thats a very good hobby.... keep it up >>. since you dont seem to have any hobby at all.

  • Man that is really low. Considering your age, you act like a child tsk, you stoop so low, hitting below the belt. You fail man, such a coward. Next time act like your 51. Not like 15.

    Lame.

Anyway, this kid is great, I'd be watching your videos. Keep it up.

  • actually, just the memorization of the finger motions is pretty cool, because sure as heck i wouldnt be able to do that. i however have to strongly disagree about the vidoegame comment because that isnt true for many children.

  • If I had said: "American" or "white" machine... would you have taken offense? Be careful how you answer this aziangurl1004.

  • actually, for the american one i would, because i am an american citizen.

  • Sure you can do it... just like you can do a video game. It just takes practice and a will (or need) to do it.

  • simply brilliant

  • This is a particularly challenging piece of music even for very experienced players! Well done, great job!

  • man you're so good, i can't believe it, you make me wanna learn the guitar, i think that in some years you'll be a superstar, you're just eleven and better than plenty of professionals!

all i can say is man you rock, keep going ! ;)

  • Wow you rock little man!!!

  • I whis i could play like you kid.

you are so cool when you play ! SYou got it brother ! =D

  • nice job!

    jerkholegutsheadman

  • lol, i want to buy it too!!

  • cause his parents aren't fame or money hunger like american parents are!

  • I want to buy it too, of course!!

  • At :26 so nice!

  • Wow !! incredible boy

i heard that guy is korean

  • Fantastic! Top notch playing at any age!

  • WOW im in SHOCK well done kid!!

  • WOW! Sounds exactly Bensusan.

  • Bravo!

    Tu es génial!

    Michèle & Alain!

  • It's very impressive. It's incredible to see how well you can play with your child's hand !

    Keep going !

    From France with admiration...

  • geez people....hes 11 years old...

  • he won't be 11 all his life, and it's a disservice if problems are overlooked for that reason.

  • For 11 years old, you are on a wonderful path. However, you need to get into better right hand technique immediately. It's tense, shaky, and producing a very thin sound. Work exercises that focus on tone production. You're making music, you have to strive for beautiful tone, always. Pierre is difficult, but you play it better than most I've seen on youtube. Also, cleaning up the tuplets will have a profound impact on this performance.

  • great but you need to improve the performance part, it sound like forced to play instead of calmly like it is, anyway excelente video, keep em coming

  • I'm so proud of you kid that you are a korean, I'm your great fan, so keep it up...

정말 자랑스럽다 성하야, 부모님이 얼마나 자랑스러워 하실까???

  • Has Pierre Bensusan seen this yet????

  • AMAZING display of technic!!!

saying he's a prodigy is an understatement

Someone sign him a record deal!!!

  • OMG...........period!!!!!

  • wow little man you keep that up .....Amazing lol ...aaaaa im going to go practice now

  • GRRRRRRRRREAT!

  • amazing rendition of a difficult tune.

  • I couldn t never get this level lol

  • what style of guitar is this?

  • It's called fingerstyle, focusing on plucking with the fingers and using other techniques.

  • that was incredible! you got a cd? if not get one and i'll buy it!!!

  • Absolutely incredible!!!!!

  • You go son! Look forward to seeing you on stage for the world tour! (PS. Yes Dave, harmonics anywhere on the guitar, except below fret 4. Roughly a third of fret positions give natural harmonics, and artificial harmonics can then put those anywhere.)

  • Give the kid a break, Limbic! He has tiny hands! He'll grow into the playing and so will his style and finesse. All it will take is time. Given that most ADULTS cannot play this well or with such feeling, this is amazing for such a young kid. Plus you can see he's really feeling the music, not just copying what he coached to play. Sick and phenomenal at the same time.

  • haha yes a future lady pleaser indeed!! well done man, played so well. i really can't describe how impressed i am. off to practice!!

  • LOL, what a legend! Good work son you're guna be a lady pleaser when you get old!

  • i tied to learn this song and this little kid owns me and that doesnt feel good

  • CGI, its all lights & mirros. Its gotta be! WOWZERS!

  • how does he cover 4 frets with his 4 tiny fingers... excellent and still manage to use fingering techniques.. good job dude u have a bright future in guitar

  • this kid is crushing my dreams lol!

  • (mouth agape) wow, pure genius. Reminescent of the prodigal Korean-American violinist Sarah Chang. he should seek out her agent and they should go out on tour together.

  • thats fucking awsome

  • I'm giving up guitar after seeing that. (I'm 46)

  • Wow!

  • Incredible.

  • he does a fucking flacholett with the small finger!!

  • what is a flacholett?

  • Thats the fancy word for harmonic. Done at the twelfth fret, and can be done anywhere on the guitar.

  • A harmonic can be done anywhere on the guitar? really lol!!!

  • wow!!! just wow is all i can say. you are the best young guitarist iv ever seen

  • Bravo!

  • I am floored that you have tackled such a demanding piece in an alternate tuning at your age. I hope whoever was running the vacuum cleaner? while you were recording recognizes your talent and efforts. I see great things in your future whatever you decide to persue.

  • great job ! great personality: playng Bensusan at 11!!!Beatiful feeling. Go on with your study

  • Holy chip!..the Midwich Cookoo's are amonst us, we're all doomed I tells yer!!

  • this is lovely!!one of my favourite gitarists!!so well reinterpretated!

  • omg...that really is amazing. I should have started playing at a much younger age. You're doin' great, kid! Keep on playing! By the way, what's the name of this beautiful piece?

  • The name was right there...Duuuuh.. Thanks for sharing this piece with us. Looking forward to hearing more of your stuff :-).

  • thats amazing! doesnt flow quite properly, but i need to criticize things haha

iv been playin 3 yrs, if i cn play like that in another ten ill be happy!

  • Great, young man, great...

    keep on practicing

  • very good and very nice!!!! ;-)

  • I think I could barely tie my shoes at 11....this is truly amazing. Pierre's music is very difficult but even though this is a bit raw in tone control...the kid has some of the more difficult aspects down; the expression is very much in Pierre's style. If he works on his tone control in the right hand he will be superb. Wow!

  • excellent,buddy!can't believe you're only 11~~keep rocking!

  • Goddamn...look at his fingers MOVE!!! AND he keeps the tone so dynamic....

  • Very good!

  • And God created ALL man equall?! 6 stars from me. My jaw fell onto the ground....

  • I guess I can no longer use the excuse that my hands aren't big enough. That was amazing.

  • just keeps getting better

  • incredible,lost for words

  • Wonderful, little Man! You are truely amazing. So Gifted. Keep it up. Take Care ..
