I've used Sonar since v5. It was always a sensational package BUT was a little unstable. Sonar 8.5 is just so good and so stable you would have to try it to believe it. There are some aspects of Sonar that they don't shout loudly enough about. The TruePiano is the best software piano I've ever played (I'm not a young man either!) the demo vid doesn't do it justice. I don't use loops but matrix view is a miracle. Cakewalk, I forgive you everything. You've got it right. Now invent a youth potion.

8.5.3 keeps crashing on me. Gives a DLL name of "cjlibrary" in the error window. Anyone know what this means? It says" this program has terminated in an unexpected way". Ahhhhhh! tech support told me to erase then reinsert my vst's but it didnt work. HELP!

i like the new look in 8.5, but now im having problem with latency and my midi controllers.. i just d/l 8.5.2.. hoping that helps... these latency issues weren't present in  7 or 8.0 and aren't present when i open Reason as a standalone and not through re-wire..

Yes, this latency you are experiencing with SONAR plugins has been addressed in the SONAR 8.5.2 update.
