In enemy squads there will usually be a unit whose symbol has a solid shield symbol above its commanders head. These guys are base point units, aim for these when taking down base points, e.g the pike unit at 08:39 in this video that caused the base commander to appear. Been playing this game for ages and still enjoying it, didnt know about the deer trick though, so cheers for uploading! And just for the record, La Hire FTW!

@torquaytilidie also named commanders (eg. Edward, the Black Prince, Marie, King of France/England) who start in a base if u kill them then the base they started at loses 3 base pts.

the way the base points work is that the amount of points = the units that appear outside the town each group of squads equals one point hence a city would have a lot moe points because it would have more men stationed there

@slick0567 Its available on XBOX Live Games on Demand now if you havent found it. Yea, its hard to find, it wasnt exactly a game made widely available, but you can always get on GoD, I probably will myself.
