  • WE LOVE YOU ROGER!!

    P.S

He's a bit like Michael Jackson, he doesn't really sound like he has the EPIC singing voice that he has. <3

  • Epic voice!

  • Always was a great vocalist with a Tremendous range as well as a superb drummer.

    rich

  • He has got my favourite rock-voice and he's one of my favourite drummers. My first concert-vitit was in '90, when he played with "the cross" in nuremberg and it was great!

  • Great song, one of the best from Roger, but unfortunately the sound engineer was sleeping again

  • The first 2 minutes were agonising for Roger, he just wants to play those drums..

  • Two people's been enraged by some rock'n roll 45's :D

  • Freddie Mercury probably had the best voice in rock, but Roger Taylor should have sung a lot more Queen songs. Great voice.

  • Best song ever written by ROger Taylor. Too bad they f***ed up his microphone.

  • Eines meiner Lieblingslieder von Queen.

  • Love his voice

  • Even Roger Taylor has to contend with sound problems! :D Makes me feel a little bettah.

  • Somenbody filmed this concert? I've got to find out more about Roger's solo music career. Long-time fan, but I hadn't a clue as to his separate career after being in the greatest band in the world. How would you introduce yourself to other people anyway? "Hello, I'm an unknown artist....", Har, Har, Har and then. hit 'em with some bluesy vibe. I can't imagine him fooling anyone with that voice.

  • This shows why Queen are so much more than just Freddie. Roger Taylor was a big part of the the Queen sound...This is one of Rogers best songs in the Queen canon!!

  • Haha, it's funny because he can't hit the LOW notes anymore. Most singer lose the high part of their voice, but for some reason he didn't.

  • @Canaveral305 haha it is pretty hilarious, thanks for pointing it out.

  • @Canaveral305

I was thinking of the same thing! It is unusual...

  • @Canaveral305 now he lost his high part i think his range discrease now because of the age.

at that moment i think it was difficult for hiom because his voice were changing at that time. but now his voice is more melodious that before i think.

  • @jbelmaestro Yeah, his voice actually deteriorated a lot compared to what he was able to do in the 70's, and while he lost his falsetto rather early (somewhere in the 90's I think), he lost his bass notes way before. I think he used to complain about not being able to sing the coda of Under Pressure ("And love dares you[...]") loud enough because it was too low.

He's still got some very decent lungs and vocal chords left though.

  • @Canaveral305 yoiu talked about the outro on Under pressure i think that now he will able to sing it

    but yeah you right

and i think that he didint lose a lot but i think he lost more powerful of his voice instead of his range.

and now also we can notice when he use his falsetto voice.:)

  • LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEET THISSS

  • Listening to this again, the lack of May and his guitar is incredibly jarring. And Taylor's got a bit of a Bowie vibe going on there.

  • The sound technician was sleeping, should be kicked in the nuts.

  • Good to see the drummer does the backbeat on the hi-hat like Roger does

  • That guitar riff in the chorus is ridiculously bad-ass

  • Oohh give me a good guitar,

And I will say that his voice is gorgeous.

Waaaait you don't have to give me angood guitar for me to say that (:

  • Roger Taylor-Yeah!!! A real rock star-always rocking! Freddie would be so proud!!!

  • one of the songs where his voice fits best.

  • rogers voice is so much underrated! (his whole person as a musician, i have to add...)

  • Great Voice!!!!

  • a master god piece of rock !

  • that's so genius ending with the intro of flick of the wrist damn

  • Roger is amazing!

  • GIVE ME A GOOOOOD GUITAAAR

THE BEST SONG BY HIM, also I'm love with my car and prime jive.

  • I always liked the Roger Taylor songs on the queen albums the best and as a solo artist he is great as well.

  • When you're young and you're poor and you're crazy..

  • Big Led Zeppelin influence in this song.

  • roger rules

love this song and the whole of SHA

  • Me gusta esta cancion

  • I love this song and the two other songs that are part of the arch, Flick of the Wrist and Lilly of the Valley

  • This is one of the best songs ever off one of the greatest albums ever...thank you so much for posting this.

  • Its great perfomance. I hope there will be new live concert with Tenement Funster

  • Remarkable. The song ends with the intro of 'Flick Of The Wrist'.

  • absolutly

  • Tenement Funster is one of my favorites of Roger's songs. It's strange to not see him behind a drum kit!

  • Yay, this happened on my birthday!

Too bad I don't like Tenement Funster :'(

  • Fantastic! He has always had such an amazing voice.

  • Fantastic rock voice!!

  • I just bought sheer heart attack and he sounds exactly the same...he is awesome...

    just perfect...(8) give me a good guitar(8) ill give him 20 ...(L)

  • awesome!!!

    roger is the best!!!

  • David, you are my hero....thanks for posting

  • 2 words.

    "Love it"

  • Roger can throw down vocally -- his voice just kicks ass!! I love Roger so much!

  • argh this is so damn awesome!!!!!!

    i love roger ;D

  • could go for a duo with Rod Stewart, similar scratch in the voice..

  • Anyone who can sing back-ups for Freddie deserves an award.

  • OOoo I so love this groove!!

  • What a treat! I love Roger's songs and what a fabulous voice.

  • Yeah! Thats my guitar Teacher!

  • who?

  • jason falloon :D

  • Amazing, I asw him in Edinburgh for this tour, next best thing to seeing Queen in concert.

  • Material clásico de la realeza interpretado por la voz de estudio y del LP original... sólo a los beatles y a los rollings se les da el titulo de Lords... EXIJO EL TITULO REAL PARA ROGER!!!!!! BRYAN !!!!!!!!!!!!! Y MR, DEACON!!!!!!!!

  • i never saw this song live

  • How bad ass would it be if he actually played flick of the wrist. It's not like he doesn't have the range to cover the vocals, and that song is fucking epic rock. Tenement Funster is definitely one of my favorite Queen songs though. In fact the entire Sheer Heart Attack Album is my second favorite Queen Album, the first being Queen II.

  • haha! i totally agree with you timmystone. hit the nail on the head-i love flick of the wrist and i bet roger could do a good version of it...and as it happens my favorite album by queen is Queen II with sheer heart attack following it. well, Queen II is my favorite album ever-its just perfect!

I bet i would have liked to have been at this concert to see Roger, sounds really good...unfortunatly i would have been 5 years old at the time....haha

  • Dave you upload the most bad ass Queen vids on youtube!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!

  • This my 2nd Favorite Queen song, it is so under rated!!!

  • roger was the pure rock n roll man in old queen.

  • Best song he did, i love it, but not the best song he wrote, in my opinion its Radio Ga ga.

  • Is this guy good or is he good.

  • Roger was the better singer in Queen,Freddie was good but the few tracks with roger singing were far better.

  • So bad that the mic was turned off when he sung the best part =/

Never expected to see this played live though!

    Thanks for uploading!

  • ??? WTF ???

  • I LOVE his voice!

  • Roger wrote some of the coolest songs of Queen in their first four albums: Modern Times Rock and Roll, Loser in the End, Tenement Funster and obviously I´m in Love with My Car

  • Always wanted to hear this live, too bad the Mic is not ready for him when he goes over to the drums, but It's great to hear this song live thanks for posting it.

  • Perfecto no pense oir nunca esta cancion en vivo, gracias por subirla, thanks you.

  • Roger Taylor is the man!

  • the man is top quality.Always was.

  • This is my favorite of his vocals---- and this performance is fantastic

  • He's such a badass!!!

  • In the days of records! LMAO

  • Tremendous

  • As good as the original!

  • one of the best of all times...

  • Queen "Sheer heart Attack" album 1974

  • how great would it be if it went into flick of the wrist with Freddie jumping out from behind the drums!

  • Roger is amazing and I can't believe how great this sounds!! I am so in love with this song!

  • Oh wow. I'd kill to see that live. :|

    I'm in love.

  • gran cancion de Sheer Heart Attack!!! nunca pense k la cantaria en vivo

  • Janet Reno on guitar! Cool!

  • Yeah, and Harry Reid singing. Ha ha

  • EXCELENTE!

  • I kinda feel bad for the drummer having to play drumms for Roger its an honor but what if you miss a beat

I love how he plays standing up towards the end!

this is an awesome song as is Drowse i cant make up my mind which one i like better they are both awesome!

  • i know how you feel (mrbadguy91)

  • mmm

'bout me i love is song man in fire

    haha

    i love rogerrr

but younger haha he's like my grandpa now!

    haha

Queeeen rocks for ever and ever

    it's a kind of magic....

  • With "I'm in Love With My Car" the best song by Roger with Queen

  • What about Rock It(Prime Jive)? That song is good, too. His voice sounds as good as it did back in the '70s

  • Yes not bad but very far from "Tenement Funster" and "IiLwmCar". "Drowse" too is very nice...

  • That was Tenement Funster

  • Yes, Tenement Funster is a great song, like also Drowse and Love with My Car, but I like a lot also Strange Frontier, Hijack My Heart, and Stealin... they are all fabulous songs by the Roger... just saw him live yesterday in Milan...

  • sei italiana quindi? è stato bello? io li ho visti nel 2005 a firenze

  • Si sono italiano, è stato molto bello, li ho visti sia nel 2005 che quest'anno sempre a Milano...

I've also filmed some songs like 39 played by all the band, with Spike Edney on accordion, Brian's guitar solo, Roger's solo playing Under Pressure and Bites The Dust on the bass with the drumsticks, and the fabulous Say It's Not True... maybe I upload something in the next days...

  • I always thought this song was special.

    so cool!

  • great track, Roger at his best

  • Me too,,,I love Drowse..............love Rodger.....love Queen..Brain May is the man for me

  • Roger's is one of the only raspy voices that I like.

The instrumentals in this performance are great!

  • You can say that my hair is a disgrace

  • A true talent with one of rock's greatest voices!

  • hope hey sacked the sound guy for not switching up the mic near his drums! What a voice.

  • Just love this one!! So cool that Roggie plays drums in the middle!! I'm diggin it!

  • i love DROWSE

  • For me too...

This one and "Drowse" are his best songs!

    Especially "Drowse"...

  • amazing!!!

  • the best song from Roger is I´m in love with my car I think

  • this is better in my opinion lol altho that one is good too.

  • I agree with you but this song is great too and I think Roger sings it very good!

  • Way to go Dave!

  • belle version

  • la cancion mas top del rock!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Roger... el mejor.

  • This and for me "Drowse" from ADATR is Roger's best songs

  • es una cansion espectacular ...pero mas espectacular es ver a roger cantando cualquier cansion,su voz puede con todo!!!

larga y eterna vida a roger!!!!

  • amo esta cancion...

  • How much greater would this song be with Brian on guitar???

  • It's my guitar-teacher.. so I prefere him ;)

  • jason faloon is your guitar teacher? really?

tell him I think he did great that tour with roger

  • this is worth it :-)

  • The best song, with "I'm in Love With My Car", Rog ever wrote. Wanderful the "Flick of the Wrist" beginning at the end.

  • I'have seen this concert! but in Milan, october 1994.

  • Premier commentaire!! chanson excellente, dommage que Queen l'est produite si peu.
