  • Nice find! The movement looks very clean and looks like it runs well, however; the metal alarm dial in the middle of the dial looks like its not original because the clock doesn't have an alarm movement and the movement was not built to have an alarm because there is no place for an activation arm for an alarm movement. The bottom glass would have had a painted picture or a mirror which looks to have fallen off.

  • @clockdude1500 You're right. Is not removed because the alarm and still have the framed prints of the screws. Also removed the arm of the clock on the machine. Unfortunately they did an outrage on a clock so rare and unique. The glass is original is faded. I really like old clocks and American history has for us. Thanks for the comment.
