  • The top countries with the highest quality of life are socialist countries. A social democracy exists to serve the people, that is the function and purpose of a socialist government, to service the general public. Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, New Zealand

On average Socialist countries have it much better than Capitalist countries. Capitalism is Economic Darwinism which is an economic form of Social Darwinism, in theory capitalism is supposed to be consumer regulated, most consumers are idiots.

  • Idiot.

  • Yankee skum? i am not a united states citizen, i am from Europe if you have not read my previous comment! My family experienced communism when they invaded the nation! The propaganda posters said liberation was what the soviets did, but they only oppressed. They tried to eliminate our culture, gave us shit and told us it is gold! They knew people were miserable, did they care? They just used secret police to arrest resistance leaders and sympathizers. Capitalism is not perfect, but it is close.

  • The USSR and the Comunist regimes around the world were/ are stalinist and even comunism is different from socialism Especialy democratic socialism which is the system that the Swedes and the Danish love so much. Stalin was worse than hitler. But I see why you have distaste for socialism. You were opressed by a system that labeled itself as socialism Capitalism oppresses the workers The upper middle class don't see it because the poor and oppressed live in ghettos And the rich are the opressors

  • What about philanthropists, they exist in capitalism, i am sure you heard of them before, but mainly bad news sticks.

And all state industry is bad, partial state industry in my part of Canada is beneficial because they control power and gas. They are very unlikely to have a price spike for a necessity. Each has a pro and con.

  • j00 51R R 4 N008!

Socialism punishes hard workers and rewards the lazy to "even it out" I am a citizen of a former communist nation, everyone lived in slums, healthcare was horrible, tried to assimilate us to Russian culture and language. Before you respond think of these things, Left wing tyranny is a bad as right wing tyranny.

Margret Thatcher -"The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples money"

  • You seriously cannot produce a movie better than this documentary. It is a little slow, but around 28mins it heats up and is incredible. If you cant deal with the vid quality, look it up on google vid

  • but the thing is about the rich is that the rich have money and they can create jobs by opening factories

  • @dukee155 They just refuse to create jobs and insist on keeping it as a status symbol.

  • @Pingascore They create jobs in other countries because of all the laws and regulations they have to deal with.

  • @dukee155 So which laws and regulations do you want to get rid of first? Food safety laws? Anti-Trust laws? Usury laws? Pollution caps by proximity to residential areas (do you want your kids playing in lead sludge)? Maybe you'd like to get rid of regulations against abuse and exploitative treatment of workers so that companies can treat their workers like absolute garbage like they do in the third world shit holes they normally outsource to. What are you gonna do, lose your income? Work slave.

  • @dukee155 Which regulations would you like to get rid of first? Should we start with pollution standards so your children can play in toxic sludge? Or maybe we should start with food safety laws so they can eat toxic sludge. Or how about usury laws, oh wait we already got rid of them and look what the banks did. Maybe we should get rid of anti trust laws so that corporations can completely monopolize your town, god knows they practically do already. Or how about workers rights laws?

  • @dukee155 That's it, lets start by slashing workers rights laws so that companies can treat employees like absolute garbage, like they do in all those third world shit holes they like to out source to. What are you going to do about unsafe and inhumane working conditions? You can always be thrown out and replaced you ungrateful whelp, go ahead speak up lose your income and watch your family starve.

  • @Laughingblades The working conditions in this country got better before the government got involved. Also I beleive Unions in the private sector are a good thing but it only becomes a problem when the government gets involved because then the corporations will start to pack up and leave and go to other countries where it is illegal to form a union.

  • @dukee155 No they got better when the government got involved, oh wait you don't know what laws and regulations made Unions possible and protected do you? Oh well, The Republic of India, New Zealand, Sweden, Norway, guess what they all have in common? Socialism has drastically improved their economies, as well as the public standard of living for pretty much everyone, now shut up and work slave because if you even talk about unionizing you're on the street, you're replaceable.

  • @dukee155 FYI, wow you're naive, unions don't have to be illegal, they simply have to not be protected. Don't you get it? Corporations hate governments that protect the worker, unions were never made illegal, the protections from government were just peeled back by the corporate lobbyist buying congressmen to repeal the workers rights we used to take for granted.

  • @Laughingblades I agree it should not be illegal but the unions have a lot of control in the government there are hundreds of lobbyists for the unions. I also do not think that the government should protect corporations either I believe in equal rights of unions and corporations.

  • @dukee155 Problem is union lobbyist are competing with the corporations that finance the politicians, and frankly the corporations don't need any government protection but unions do need government protection or they'll get busted up and stamped out. Before laws were passed protecting unions, there were no unions, anyone trying to stand up for their rights was thrown out and replaced (the US used to have child sweatshops with high rates of injury and long term health effects).
