You know, I look at these officers, that are my age, and wonder what they think of the changes in freedom. I am sure that it must get to some of them. It's very easy to generalize but, a lot of these guys must be just as worried as the rest of us. The only way you would know about it if he wasn't doing what he is doing is, if you were unfortunate enough to end up there. Ask the thousands that were arrested in Toronto and held for days without charge then released. Men, women and children locked in cages with open toilets for excersizing their legal right to protest. You have to ask yourself, how can mass arrest be legal?

There was no assault, he removed you from the premises, he could have arrested you for not obeying a lawful order from a peace officer, you were being uncooperative, and he was being nice about it, he let you continue filming when he could have made you stop.

Search for police IQ scores and cross reference all your research. You'll find a ton of people that were disqualified from forces all over the nation because their IQ scores were too high (anything above 110). When these cases are taken to supreme court judges for personal discrimination they are thrown out because it's become a nationwide standard, I found the avg IQ of recuits hired in the last decade is only 94 which is just above functionally retarded! How about starting a petition to "respected" leaders of the community- like preachers, church leaders, state, city, and county representatives, to do an investigation and answer to the petitionsers- aka- their constituents- what the hell this "facility" is for, and to provide the licenses and governing documents that control its use. Make that petition accessible via a link on these youtube videos for us to sign too.

I was on the inside- I spent the night in that god-forsaken place. No I don't have any photographs- they didn't even let us play duck-duck goose in the cell. Let alone have our cameras with us. However there are reports from the ACLU if you look on their website. Long letters of complaints they sent to the Denver police department.

the air conditioner was a bunch of gigantic tubes leading into the building through a garage door which blew across the floor. Everyone was so cold they were shaking. We could feel the wind from it blow our hair around from across the warehouse. Some people didn't have shoes or a shirt. The floor was concrete so it was freezing and we were all dressed for august weather. One person and I had an XXL t-shirt which we traded off wearing to keep semi-warm.

and as you might guess- many of the people in there were vegetarians or vegans. One person I was in a cell didn't eat pork because of her religion. They only gave out bologna sandwhiches until daybreak- at which point p.b. & j sandwhiches were given out with the cheapest white bread money can buy(no surprise there). So- most of us went without sleep, warmth, or food for the entire night. I'm surprised no one snapped. My only charge was "Blocking streets and passageways"

and yet we were on our way to the 16th street mall(where pedestrians walk freely)- we would have been on the street for only a minute more but we were corralled in without a dispersal call(illegal) and detained for over an hour(all 100 or so of us) The police blocked at least two blocks(I'm sure you could look up exactly) for at least two hours.(again, I'm sure you can find the specifics online). They did the exact thing they were supposedly arresting us for doing. I find that painfully ironic.

You can't be held indefinitely without being charged unless the body that detains you can prove some extraordinary circumstance.

Even then, they have to have an arraignent within 48 hours and give you a chance to bond out until any trial.

Police need Probable Cause to even stop you. If they're going to hold you, they need to charge you within 48 hours. If cops can just randomly put people in jail for no reason, that's fascism.

Not under circumstances such as providing VIP security or protecting a building etc. If you are deemed a threat for any reason under such circumstances you can be arrested and held without charge for 48 hrs before release. Those cages were for short term holding of people arrested under those circumstances. Its a different between the cops "randomly putting people in jail" and thats not fascism man, thats a communist police state and doesnt happen here.
