  • Neat console.

  • what's with the little green light?

  • You'd be hard-pressed to replace that set with something with as satisfying a sound (I think speakers today suck!) so I would consider taking TwinMillMC's advice. You'll need to pull the amp and mail it to a competent repair shop. That's the major problem. But I know well a shop in Cambridge, Mass where I live that has a tech who may know how to bring it back up to spec. He's an older guy who's been around. Let me know if it's a tube or transistor set and I'll find out if he can help you.

  • Very nice console. The problem with the right channel being muted is probably with the capacitors in the output section of the amp. If I were you I would remove the receiver/amp part and have it restored - replace all caps and anything else that measures weak. Also check all solder joints. The turntable is most likely loud due to a hardened rubber idler wheel. That can be rebuilt as well.

Question; what size are the woofers in this console? Are they 12" ???

    Thanx
