Contra Hard Corps was made by the same people who made Castlevania Bloodlines for the Genesis/Mega Drive, hence the cameos in the game.

That remix was also composed my Michiru Yamane, the composer for Castlevania Bloodlines and a majority of the games, until 2008.

This soundtrack was very well done. It has cool tracks, the most hilarious being the secret boss in the Junk Yard level. The different boss battle tracks also kick major ass.

By the way, this my most favourite Contra game. It's actually very, very close before Contra 3 for me (which is great as well). Four guns to select from, some of the best boss battles ever, like that VR thing - and cool atmosphere.

Unmatched.

@foxxtail06 That's because the game was handled by Treasure. Treasure is the developer of Gunstar Heroes and Dynamite Headdy. I don't think any other developer has taken advantage of the Genesis as much as Treasure did.

I love this game becuase of the slide ability wich made the game way more better then most of them i would say and they have a cameo of vampire killer song in it but its a techno version but i love this game and it will always be in my heart for the hardness of the game

@Persiana Yes, I found it tough to enjoy the SNES versions after this one. The SNES versions felt so slow. In fact, almost every game on the Super Nintendo felt slow. I don't know why Nintendo went with such a slow processor.
