Cymone was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Fred Anderson, a musician, and Bernadette, a social worker. Cymone was the youngest of six children. The Anderson home soon had an additional member — a young Prince who left his own home due to conflicts with his father. Prince's cousin started a band called Grand Central and invited Prince and Cymone. The band was later renamed Champagne and included Cymone's sister Linda and Morris Day."
This was one of my favorite cuts from A.C., although I favored Survivin' in the 80's Lp between the three of them, I still find myself playing all three back to back once in awhile. I really do miss Dre' and the NuWave funk he brought 2 the game, I never 4get the jam*s I used 2 bump and sometimes still bump. They should re-release "Livin' In The NuWave and especially Survivin' in the 80's because I played the LPs 2 death. Just a request. Tjam*
i loved this song from day one...you won't find it on itunes...fortunately i have his albums on wax from those days when they were still in circulation..try ebay.. you may find it on one format or another...great song here!
