close call, thankfully no powerlines on that section of the road , probably would have made things more... interesting.

Awesome. I was on the same storm that day, but I had to hunker down in downtown Kinsley when I realized I couldn't outrun it, and the sirens were blasting. It was a nervous 20 minutes of +100mph gusts, power flashes, and baseball hail.

No doubt in my mind that was a real tornado, I can't believe NWS Dodge won't call it that.
