Maybe its because i grew up in the 80's but this is my favorite lineup... Bruce K and Eric C were great for the band. Don't get me wrong, I love all of KISS' music... My favorite album is "The Elder". But from Asylum to Hot in the Shade - that is great music. I saw them in Kansas City in 1990 at "sandstone" on their Hot in the Shade tour and I still see them when thy tour Texas. I just wish the classic radio would play something else than "Rock-n-Roll all night"

I don't remember the song, but one of their videos, he was wearing this pink fringe jacket, white leather fingerless gloves and tiger striped something rather and fringed chaps...

It was like every 80's hairband fashion exploded.

And of course...he did plenty of dancing with that guitar which he didn't play once.

Pink Floyd has been on on vacation for a while now,Chang the singer & pretty much the band has Sabbath with Ozzy sounded nothing like Sabbath with any other singer & still they never had the commercial success of Kiss,Kiss has more Platinum & Gold records then any other band,I will continue in the next slot,

@Acekicken Kiss had nominal success, until their ALIVE album. Which captured, they hoped, the energy of their shows, even then, they admitted later they dubbed in more crowd noise.

I'm telling you, it's all image. Gene even admitted to Peter Criss when he was hired. "Rock is all about image." So they slapped that cat makeup on him and Ace and went to town. I think it was a business decision following the lack of success with Wicked Lester. Turned out to be a good business decision.
