The only way that trucks HP is so low is its old and worn out. Or someone didn't do their job right. I have a 1999 ram 2500 V10 that's got way more then that stock.

hmmm 250 hp. idk i gotta say if you spend that much for gas and you want the big motor with high hp. go for a 5.9l and put turbo's on it, then you can be making numbers like 400 or even 500+ hp. but nice truck tho

A good tune up, cam, injectors, throttle body, headers exaust and intake you should see +420 on the v10 and easily +550ftlbs. I just have a kn filter on mine, no cats and a Flowmaster 70 series. Just those mods themselves made a big difference. 488ci takes less to make more, than a 360ci.
