Der Film war einfach toll. Es gibt leider keine große Konkurenz für Wikingerfilme.Und ich fand die Wikinger toll gemacht. Aber Filme verlangen Geschmack und der ist zum Glück unterschiedlich
Klar die Wikinger sind in dem Film vielleicht übertrieben, aber sie hatten nun mal den Ruf grausam zu sein, da vergisst man schnell das sie ein großartikes Handwerkliches und künstlerisch Begabtes Volk waren. Ich finde den Film nicht schlecht (und das sage ich jetzt nicht weil Karl Urban mitgespielt hat), und das Video ist auch gut, es passt einfach alles so gut zusammen.
The only realistic parts in that movie was the language of the vikings and the location... You'r right, they look like Chaos Warriors, with those horns on their helmets, heavy plated shields, giant axes (and not even bearded axes or long axes)...

This was an awesome movie! He's an olde time Rambo-That's what the badguys get for destroying his new family. This is a floggin kool superhero movie. I sort of agree with some of the complainerz, the icelandic people weren't dressed right-well-the so-called native americans weren't dressed right either and don't even resemble any tribe in this country(u.s)-nobody's dressed right in this movie- lets get one thing straight,usually all superhero movies are FANTASY,and this was an awesome movie... .

Funny thing is in real life it was the other way around; the Native Americans wiped out the Vikings. Norse who landed in N. America where half starving greenland norse, no swords or armor, they barely had enough metal to make work axes and knives...

Klar die Wikinger sind in dem Film vielleicht übertrieben, aber sie hatten nun mal den Ruf grausam zu sein, da vergisst man schnell das sie ein großartikes Handwerkliches und künstlerisch Begabtes Volk waren. Ich finde den Film nicht schlecht (und das sage ich jetzt nicht weil Karl Urban mitgespielt hat), und das Video ist auch gut, es passt einfach alles so gut zusammen.

The only realistic parts in that movie was the language of the vikings and the location... You'r right, they look like Chaos Warriors, with those horns on their helmets, heavy plated shields, giant axes (and not even bearded axes or long axes)...

This was an awesome movie! He's an olde time Rambo-That's what the badguys get for destroying his new family. This is a floggin kool superhero movie. I sort of agree with some of the complainerz, the icelandic people weren't dressed right-well-the so-called native americans weren't dressed right either and don't even resemble any tribe in this country(u.s)-nobody's dressed right in this movie- lets get one thing straight,usually all superhero movies are FANTASY,and this was an awesome movie... .

There's something wrong with the dutch lyrics. It says "En Thor en Tyr aan ons zijde" but it should be "En Donar en Tyr aan ons zijde". They're the same god, it's just a different name :)
