"whippings on weaker children" "women have 7 or more kids"?-thats taught by whte mans schools-so many ethnic women overwork her paycheck goes to father/brother/sons booze/drugs- natives kids in schools battered & end up drunk/drug on streets-how different from the IROQUOIS MATRIARCHY LONGHOUSES - see iroquois women by spittal- no money needed/dependence on clients- if grow food/make clothes/shoes
thats really neat!!!! i love elder people... i respect them in every way!!! im still trying to learn from my elderly ones.... still getting there... hahaha but i love this video!! i love it a lot.....
That is sooo true, I wasn't babied...when I was pregnant I still carded wool, grinded corn, brought in buckets of wter, chopped n carried wood in. My grndma wanted me to keep my figure. At times, I thought she was uncaring but in the end I found out she only cared. She still remembered me at age 103. :) Things this woman says is true. (a sister)
@doriannlee, my grandmother spoke like her too she is truly missed. :) i wish i wouldve spent more time with her. however, i built my first loom from memory, she was an excellent instructor.
enjoyed the lesson of our elderly grandmother. She express her gratitude of the way she grew up in the traditional way of life. Lots of teaching and wisdom from her. Thanks for sharing.

I don't know that she is not a young girl anymore. I hear the spirit of a young girl in those giggles!
