  • and what do you think is better 30p or old pochmann

but the way this is freaking awesome

  • edges is m2 what about corners, you use that alg that is like the y perm and changes up back and up left edge stickers dont you?

where can i learn that method?

  • @naker115 The method is called Old Pochmann. You can learn it from badmephisto on youtube or from Joël: solvethecube[.]110mb[.]com/blindfold.html

  • Have seen this like ten times, and it still amazes me!

  • every time i see this it amazes me, how do you do corners for all that? do you do letters like edges?

  • fooooooooooook me.

  • Method of Loci for memo. ?

  • yes.

  • I can't do one blindsolve, how does he do it?

  • what method?

  • old pochmann corners

    M2 edges

  • or its a 3 cycle for corners i cant realy tell

  • you're right it's old pochmann for corners.

  • Nice , your WR will last a very long time.

  • this man is damn CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!right now i think he must have been in psycho ward after that, but its very impressive!!

  • thats amazing

  • man that judge must of been amazed if he wasnt sleeping lol

  • lol DIE

  • I have just really started cubing, so i don't think I can even do one yet. But, I can count card very well=) (around 4-5 decks, mostly 100 percent accuracy). I will post a video as soon as I can convince my parents to get me a camera, or recorder thingy. And yes, I am not 28 years old, my profile thing is messed up.

  • Oh, and I don't really get the BLD tutorials on youtube. I know the beginner's method that can with the cube and I understand basic F2L. Could you please explain how you do BLD? THanks

  • ajkjkkf, u should wait until u get about 30s avg b4 trying bld.

  • okey dokey! i'm getting under a minute pretty consistently now.

  • nah, there's no need to wait until you try bld. I tried bld before i was sub-2 (minutes!). BLD cubing helps understanding the cube a lot and i think it's worth learning it. And if you can memorize 4 decks, it will be easy to memorize a cube (which contains of 20 "cards").

  • same when i hit sub 40 i started bld and i cant stop doing bld all the time :) hey memorization techniques plzz :(

  • try 3 cycle for corners and M2 for edges

    parity fix F U R2 D B' D B D2 R2 U F U2 F

  • amazing, goodjob, ahh i cant even do one i hvnt bothered learning it completely, what method do you recomend learning? any links? ty

  • I recommend Pochmann or his advanced methods M2/R2. Google is your friend :).

  • Okey, probably the most sickest thing ever! But it's so cool!

  • why does nobody comment on this freakin awesome video? tim is my hero!

  • Which method do you use to memorize it??

    Crazy...

  • The method of loci

  • me too! what do use for pegs or whatever?

  • i just use random images, like tables, chairs, planes and stuff like that.

I read at your youtube channel, that you can memo a 4x4 in 2:30. Is that just a theoretical value (eg. 100 images with 2 images/s => 50s memo). If it's real, you should post a video. Now! :P. My PB for the 4x4 is about 2:40, but i'm usually above 3 minutes.

I really have to get into memorizing decks of cards. I hope i can improve my memo times that way, cause they suck.

  • semi-theoretical, because it's like memorizing a little over 1 deck of cards. 4 centers*6, 24 edges, and 8 corners=56 for just pieces. I visual memo orientation of corners, which I get out of the way first, so that requires basically no thought. 1 deck of cards is done by world champions in like 30 seconds, and because I'm no expert, and a deck takes around 2:30 for me, and I have memo'd a 4x4 showing that I can, it's semi theoretical.

  • To continue on, I would put up a vid of 4x4 bld, but execution for puzzles bld is a HUGE problem for me. The part about the world champion deck memorizers, that shows that memorizing x number of values in that much time is possible with the loci method, and that I'm not just bs'ing. It takes 2:30 to get everything in place in my location, but I usually go over it to make sure I have it all down. So 2:30, again, is semi-theoretical. Does that help paint a better picture for you?

  • rowe hessler attempted 30 but got 22 at armonk. it was epic to watch.

  • 30???? holy cow lol. do you know how long it took?

  • around 4 hours

  • 4:24:11 hours :P

  • omg yay!!! u really hoped ud have a video for this! nice job, you smashed the official AND unnofficial WRs :D
